Default The Revival of the \"Ganges\"?

Looks like the "Ganges" has been flooding runs recently...so is this the turning point in Saurav's career?

Boy, it's always good to play minnows when you're out of form

Ganguly has lost it. A 250 ball hundred against Zimbabwe isn't impressive at all. Their bowling attack should be being flayed around the park.

Hopefully he is still kidding himself when England tour India

It would be fun watching him dancing to the tunes of Flintoff and Harmison's short stuffs. They will no doubt target his rib area that makes him flop like a catfish stuck in mud. It could be the end of his career after the England tour.

If India are to get a new captain it will be done after the Pakistan tour. It's too late to change now. And after the century it just got a bit harder. Anyway I forsee trouble ahead for him in any event.

I sincerely believe that ganguly is not as good as he was b4 but do India have anyone better at the moment to replace him, especially when WC is only few years away?? As for England, i hope they r not kidding themselves assuming that they will find it easy playing India in India. I'm keen to c how they play in Pakistan.

I very much doubt the England lads will kid themselves about playing any side on the subcontinent being easy.

It is the hardest place to tour for any side from outside the subcontinent. And they know that, Vaughan has said that as have all the England players when they have been asked about it. I am sure they will be as focussed as they always are.

England now are entering a critical stage. Winning the Ashes is all well and good, but England now have to build on that, and that involves winning on the subcontinent.

ooh this is just a flash in the pan, ganguly is sooooo out of touch now. 250 ball 100 ? come on, he would have done better than that in earlier days.

yeah, lets c how he dances to freddies and harmi's short balls and chin music.

dear padossan
i mite b wrong but buddy ganguly did play his natural game wid the newzealanders when he tuk on oram n mills!!
i certainly m not supporting ganguly but not having a century 4 three years must hav revolved around his mind as well as this innings waz crucial as far as india goes!
his stats in test does say dat he has bin gud!
his stats clearly showed dat his avg was 65 in the year 2004 n 28 in the year 2005 but we havent played many tests in 2005 so its true dat ganguly has bin gud in tests!
