16 year old faraz patel and bazid khan will be the ones to watch. usually the karachi and lahore teams are the strongest in the league, but with players missing from the domestic teams i doubt if bangladesh will lose a single game.

Yeah, I saw Bazid Khan scoring 184 against one of the teams.

I didn't notice Faraz Patal though, is he playing for PIA?

Don't rush into conclusions that easily on on BD 'A' not losing a single game, the first part of the tour sounds like an experimental ground for Whatmore and the second part sounds like a completely different team.

In that first part, Whatmore will be staying with the team only for the first 10 days, then we have a pretty inexperienced coach, in fact not a coach at all - from what I have read in one bengali paper. And there is experimentation on finding the new captain too - Mushfiqur Rahman will be the captain of the 'A' team, and different sources differs about who the vice captain is.

What is worst is that from December 29th match, the whole BD 'A' team will convert into a full BD 'A' team, instead of a BD national team under the cover of the 'A' team. And there is no certainty as to who will be the captain then. But the plus point of the later stage will be that the real 'A' team will get a proper coach during January.

Muddaser, do you have any news on the Asia Cup? Will there be any group stages or will every team play against each other once and the 2 teams that have more points will go into the final?

faraz patel hasnt performed well so far in the qualifying rounds but has done extremely well this year. how many 16 year olds do you see scoring 20 centuries in one year against decent bowlers and hes also a very good spin bowler.

ive just heard that bangladesh will be in group 1 and will play PIA, Customs, DHA, Wapda, KRL, and PTCL


PIA, wapda and KRL are the strongest teams in the trophy but will be missing some players.

half of the PIA team will not be playing. from what i know bangladesh will face 3 of the strongest teams in the league. PIA, KRL and wapda are very strong teams with many international players.

imran nazir is in the A team to play india. he has been given so many chances but hasnt learnt from his mistakes. he keeps giving his wicket away. cant believe that shoaib has praised mohammed irshad so much even though hes only played 4 first class games. he reckons hes quicker than sami.
