Default Rafiq climbed up to 26 in the test ranking

Mohammad Rafiq has climed to 26 in test bowling ranking after the first test match against Australia, up 10 places. Among the batsmen, Shahriar Nafees is up 45 places to 59 and he is the second most ranking BD batsman after Habibul Bashar.

Selected BD players Test Ranking:

38(+2) - Mashrafe Bin Mortaza

Only rafique had the oppertunity to bowl at the 2nd innings more often (its easier to get wickets in the 2nd innings) he would have climbed up inside 10 by now.

If Rafiq had the opportunity to bowl in the 2nd innings consistently, he would have been within 1-10 in test bowling thats for sure and he would have ended his career with 200+ wicket.

I was thinking the exact thing last night after Rafique's 9 wkt haul. He rarely gets the chance to bowl twice in one test match. I'd imagine we would have had a top-10 bowler amongst us by now if Rafique got his due share of the red cherry.

Awesome Rafique. And what a role model. I hope he sticks around another 5 years as he seems to maintain his fitness.So why not?

It's only rafiq that brought us back in the game with his performance on 4th and 5th day after the horrible 2nd innings batting.
