Mashud Got Fined
wicket keepeer khaled mashud got fined 50% of his odi salary.
http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/bangl...ry/276630.html
do u think he deserves it?
if you lot ask me,i think he deserves all he gets,
what is the point of speaking out of your own players?
and automatic choice? does he think he's the best?
what a phatetic fool.
i say bcb should ban him for couple of matches and fine all his salary for that!
players should learn to never speak out about fellow players.
what do you ppl think?

We ppl think what you ppl don't think...
We ppl think he is THE BEST WICKETKEEPER IN THE SUBCONTINENT &
ONE OF THE VERY BEST IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD.
And ppl that think any less are the pathetic fools.
We sincerely hopes they double his pay, after all the service he has given us during our pioneering years. He has, on many occassion been our beacon of hope. We are also working on giving him a great retirement plan.
You know, in india, the so-called fans burn the houses of cricketers and brickbat them... In Bangladesh, we double our support for them during tough times. Newsflash, normally, some sponsors will pay these fines. He does not have to pay.

I dont know..He's not right to say that he's an automatic choice, although he is one. I never fancied him as a world class keeper. Almost everytime I have seen him play he dropped at least one sitter.

Not very modest, is he?
I support the decision of fining him. I acknowledge all the great things he has done for BD cricket. That, however, doesn't give him a carte blanche to glorify himself. He is supposed to be leading by example. What precedent does this leave with the youngsters who are busting their chops to get in the team? The board chose to make an example out of him for good reasons.
That being said, I agree with billah's proposed pension plan. The likes of Pilot, Sumon and Rafiq deserve a higher tier of salary than what they're entitled to presently.

Guys, I don't like gunda mia's wholesale attack on our cricket and cricketers. He keeps doing this using bad words. Please take my comments in light of that information. Thanks.

So,, Mashud gets a fine for 50% and others 15%.. are these laws written in their policies? Sometimes, you wonder why is there so much Mashud hate. Granted his batting is not as flourishing as Nafees/Aftab. But is Ashrafuls? Farhad Rezas? I personally think that the selection team feels so helpless that they still have to select him,, as Rahim, Saghir, etc. is still not being consistent and cant match Mashud's skills. My question is,,, do you really need to have a fulltime wicket keeper in the squad? Especially, when you dont have a "real" "real" fast bowler..

well i guess mashud should not have made such comments. i dont think that was very professional of him. but the truth is that whatever he said was exactly true. i dont think what he said has any kind of error. and fining him at this stage was just ridiculous. i mean as the WC is getting closer i dont think there is any reason to create some sort of artificial tension. very poor management.
