Caretaker government took care of the takers. A bit late but still welcome.

(Aadi-Okritrim) baad dan bhai janera.

I say release that sticky and let that thread die. That thread has served her purpose long time and fairly well. Time for new threads in FC. My opinion only!!

Election coming. There will so many new and important breaking news. Hard to dig through that oversized thread.

Chinaman,
could you please explain why welcome decision. Haven't kept up on lot of proceedings. Were they dishonest or something? I thought they were understaffed and needed more advisors.

Just read the article from the link I posted or the bdnews24.com site to get the brief.

You are right though, the govt is understaffed and need more advisers, good ones.

Hmm!! I did read the report. Mainul, Tapan and Quadri had a valid reason. But what with Dr. Matiur Rahman (health) and Geeti Ara (industry)?

The one's that resigned on principle from the previous stint seem worthy.

Akbar Ali Khan, Hasan Mashhud Chowdhury, Sultana Kamal, C.M Safi Sami

Unless there's more to than meets the eye.

I have no doubt about his honesty or integrity but IMO he's unable to make any significant strides in terms of his decision making skills over the last 12 months.

Who are the new individuals that have sworn in? Wasn't that supposed to be done on the same day that the older cabinet members resigned?

BTW, I do feel the incompetency of the CTG...did you guys know that gorur mangsho is now 250/260 taka per kilo? Cooking oil costs less in Canada than in Bangladesh.

Aviation should have been put under trial not the religious affairs. Anyways thanks for the information. Now I wonder who will they hire?

Burnout burns.

Totally expected move by the CA as the media build-up ended in the resignation. MH's mouth cost him, and his passive stance with regards to war criminals tribunals. GASC had no idea about organized labor in Bangladesh, a major handicap when you're in charge of industries. The health and FA Doctor did nothing during his stint.

Confirmed by bdnews24. According to them former secretary AMM Shawkat Ali will be there instead of Chakma King Barrister Debashish Roy.

Mainul was too controversial and Geeti Ara's family allegedly had 2 crores of unpaid loans, but not sure whether that had anything to do with them resigning

I consider this as a good move, especially that Mainul guy should have kicked out way early.

Btw, Read here in Prothom Alo why they were criticized.
