I had a feeling that we would be kicked out from the tourney
similarly as England did to us last time.

I just did not think it would be so shameful.

Not many positives to take away from this tour. In fact, there really aren't any.

Man I am so pissed off at the U-19 team. I really thought we'd go at least to the Semis.

Wow! what a terrible let down. I am sure these boys must be devastated by this performance. they need to regroup and try to perform better to keep their NO5 position.

The present and previous cup proved that our players are basically vulnerable at times when it means most.

As Z said, some of us old-timers have been through this many times in the past. Frankly, much as we would have liked to celebrate the cubs winning, this is a good experience for them, and will serve them well when some of them make it into the A-team and, eventually, the senior team. It's not the end of the world -- we knew that their batting was not up to snuff, and in some matches like the one against the ENG U/19, they managed to somehow pull through. In this match, they didn't (and you all should know that beating a team once does not guarantee a victory against them next time). But the manner in which a few of you are spewing venom and vitriol against what are, after all, now some very disappointed kids, is just tacky.

I don't have the mind to look up the schedule. Are we totally eliminated??? If so, good for us! I can't take it any more!!!

Even the best international teams in the world would have crashed in a match or two in this manner if they were given a packed schedule like the one our boys are given.

We have got some good players from this team.

Nasir Hossain will be good allrounder in the future. His offspin bowling is great.

Ashraful Hossain & Ashiquul Islam are two good batsmen..

Rubel Hossain & Subabish Roy are two good pacers. Future of National Team.

But
Dollar is bhua... another over-hyped player of Bangladesh cricket.

you cannot judge how good a player will be based on under 19 performance, look at brian lara, his average was in the 20's for under 19

Right now I don't wanna make any comment about the players. They need to prove themselves continuously to get my real praise. But they failed this time...

All my sympathy for the team, but 40 all out is totally unacceptable and needs tough action and severe penalties, by the authority for such poor peformance. Not only the players but the management team should be taken to task.
