Is there any women sports in Bangladesh that is really popular that draws people ( other than tennis where they go to check out the "foreigner" girls)? I cant think of any? These girls really made a significant progress in just couple of years,, wow!! if only there were more folks and sponsors..

When will we start playing real teams like Australia, India, England!
Keep playing the associate countries which really does not help.

Exactly! There was some criticism of arranging such tournament right before Asia Cup against HongKong, which is a minnow compared to the elites of Women Cricket. As you can see from the results the all four matches were won without anywhere near going to some competition. Except the third match where BD team really had a scare but never close to a defeat.

They lost 5 wickets at 96. Look at the string of zeroes after the first couple of batswomen.
And look at Jahanara's bowling figures: 0.3-0-0-3

i know hong kong wasn't that good next to the BD women's team, but this just blows my mind jahanara alam's - 0.3-0-0-3 ! i also noticed they all tend to get bowled a lot! almost 90% of the time! actually bd women's too! must say something about their overall batting technique! we need to improve an dkeep working hard now to fight against the big women's teams - england, india, australia, newzeland, south africa and pakistan!
i am very proud of our moms, sisters, khalas, fufus, dadees and nanees!

CONGRATS!!!!! Our womens team is winning more matches than our mens team.
BCB should think of creating a coed team for Bangladesh!!
