I am a bit surprised as it is sunshine here in Dhaka, but so much rain at Fatullah to abandon the game.

That sucks...New Zealand could have done with a hit out before the first ODI given they are in foreign conditions.
What is the forecast for the game on Thursday?

It has rained almost everyday in the last week here at Dhaka. So, there is possibility of rain. good thing is, rain stops quickly and sunshine is there also. with the better system in Mirpur, i think we gonna have game at 9th.

Ya...Bad luck Nocturnal, Fatullah is an international venue, still no drainage system. Pathetic really. i was also wondering as sunshine here in Dhaka, there must not been that much rain to call off the match that early.

exactly, although our youngsters didnt get the opportunity against hardened pros, it probably gives a slightly greater chance of causing an upset in the first match

hmm
"ektu darabey ki..ekhoni nambey brishti..."
If there was ever a rainfall that created more nervous anticipation for a cricket match, this is it.
It only succeeded in creating more mystery around what could happen...

Dhurr....
The drainage system os SBNS is the best so far in BD. Lets hope there would be no wash out. It's raining almost everyday ...but in Chittagong it's gonna be tough to dry the ground since the drainage system there is not up to standard.
