fix the top 4 and maybe the team will start to make some decent scores, at this point it's all down to whether ash, rahim and shakib make runs, if they don't then the team just folds (quicker than superman on laundry day, thanks simpsons). imo they should invest some hard time in shamsur, didn't someone pick him as a future test player awhile ago? if they put time and effort into him he might turnout to be a decent test #3.
anyway rahim should bat at 4, i'd like to put ash at 3 and play raqibul down the order because raqibul is quality but obviously isn't ready to bat top 4 at test level, but ash never does well at 3.

They way Ash was waiting for declaration is shame. He cannot use Tamim and Imrul as a bowler when SL are scoring freely. He can do that if there is no chance of getting result. I felt so embarassed to see him laughing at that time. They lost their concentration at that time. If he can laugh in front of the camera I can imagine what he said to his fellow players at the dressing room. Probably, he had a good laugh of using Imrul and Tamim as a bowler at that time.
I don't think most of these players are mentally ready for test cricket. BCB should select players for the team who are mentally strong (if there is anything to measure it beforehand) who can full use of their ability. I am tired of seeing Ash type of BD players.

we might have to wait until tamim and raqibul mature, shakib and rahim look to be maturing but 2 players can't score all the runs every test match to take a team to a win.

It wasn't out, that's what I felt too. Though it was close but I think NS got it all wrong. RF the SL commentator immediately called it a brave decision.

God forbid, should Mendis become cripple, he will only be a ten times better the spinner he is now (God forbid that as well).
