Talking Shane Watson of Australia desperate to run out Shakib Al Hasan in the funniest way, CHECK IT OUT!

I'm not really sure if everyone else has found out about it long time ago; but just to share here it is.

This was the 3rd odi Bangladesh was playing against Australia in 2008 September. Chasing Australia's 199, when Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan became able to frustrate the Australians by posing a 50+ partnership, Aussie Man Shane Watson showed severe desperation to get one of the batsmen out by whatever means. Check the following link out, and have a laugh:

http://www.cricketcrowd.com/Play_Vid...1149-2925.html

Watch what Watson says to Shakib: ''Stay on your crease, goose''

And the Umpire calls, ''Over!''

HAHAHA!

Yah, saw that. Aussie can get ugly sometime and they've every reason for it coz they're playing against the low rank team but that's not the point here we should have won that match.

I actually see all this under a very different light.

Shakib had left his ground before play was complete (technically speaking). Its just everybody knew that he wasn't running.

But then again, I have never played cricket.

Either way, players should practice more caution as we know that we get out in the most stupid ways.

He checked with the umpire when he completed his run, so it was ok, shane watson was just being a baby. He knows sakib is a better all rounder by miles.

Oh no, i never saw that man; the normal highlights doesn't have it. Unless someone has captured it, no chance for us to see. But next time we play Aussies, there's always a chance.

Shame on the World Champs. I personally never expected from them.

It is interesting to see how other teams like to win while we lag behind.

tbh not shocked at all by watson's actions in that clip, australia are that hungry to win matches. is that dirty play? that's personal opinion, i think watson was really just reminding shakib to watch out and be careful because if he slips up they'll be there, though of course if he was given out watson wouldn't of had a problem with it

Well, you goose, I have a different interpretation of this incident. Aussie's prime intention was to run out Sakib, that is why this goose applealed to the Umpire. When the Umpire said 'no' to the goose, then the goose said, "you stay on the crease. goose".

wasn't much of an appeal there, i don't think they expected it to be given out, main purpose was to keep shakib in check, if he got a wicket while at it then that would be a bonus. at least that's how i saw it, plus the umpire called over too early, as healy says he called it while the ball was still in the air. not that i'm condoning that sort of play.

im not sure what watson or any other australians did wrong there. shakib just walked out of his crease while the ball was in play. any under 12 cricketer knows not to do that. it was good that the umpire called over as there would be a huge uproar.

im sure every international player would do what watson did.
