West Indies v South Africa and Pakistan v India
West Indies continue there run chase this morning after rain ended play prematurely yesterday. They resume on 20/0 off 6 overs with Gayle on 12 and Hinds on 6. They are chasing SA's score of 246/6 after Herschelle Gibbs made a 100.
The Pakistan v India match is the most anticipated of the tournament. This will be an entertaining affair. Pakistan won the toss and have elected to field first.

Now lines need painting again and one wonders why the overnight
repairs were done only to be undone?
After this long delay and possible loss of concentration, play will
resume

6.6 Pollock to Gayle, OUT: very strange shot to play, a sleepy cut
again with no footwork and its inside edged onto the stumps from
over a foot outside off

Sourav Ganguly is out for a duck .
Latest action:
1st over: Sami starts with a wide but some late in-swing sees Ganguly slashing at the next delivery. Sami then beats him on the outside before Ganguly edges the penultimate ball of the over to wicket-keeper Moin Khan. VVS Laxman comes in and gets off the mark with a leg-side glance. India 1-1 (Ganguly 0)
1028 BST: India captain Sourav Ganguly prepares to take strike to Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Sami in a noisy atmosphere at Edgbaston.

usually i support team who is doing bad in non BD matches. But today I am supporting Pak, because of Indian players unwillingness to play with BD. I hope they loose by 8/9 wickets today. All arrogance down the drain.

46.4 Pollock to Powell, SIX, full toss, on legs, lofts it without any
effort over midwicket fence for SIX more!
46.3 Pollock to Powell, SIX, full toss, on leg stump, beautifully picked
up of his legs, lofts it over midwicket fence for SIX!
