Shamim Choudhury-UK fans have a bone to pick with you.
Shamim Choudhury mentioned on air that he understands, fans from the US have been staying up all night to watch the match on the internet, but did not say anything about the poor patriotic UK fans, charming heh?
I am not amused.
Nafi, please take note and dont let him ever come to your dad's restaurant.
Miraz, please take up this issue to the highest authority in BD and get Shamim to personally come to this forum and give an explaination.
US fans, stop feeling so proud and pleased with yourselves.

Btw, 0.1 Rainsford to Iqbal, Atahar in disbelief: "Starts off with a wide!"
0.2 Mpofu to Iqbal, Atahar in disbelief: "Starts off with a wide!"

He was probably praising us because in our country, cricket is not popular at all. Unlike the UK, we don't have Sky Sports or anything like that.

এত জালাও পোড়াও না করে বিচি কাটা বাঘ ভাইয়ের সাথে যোগাযোগ করেন সবাই। তিনি আসে পাসেই আছেন। নামমাত্র মূল্যে কাজ করেন।

Rule#1 for CEOs: Never ever make any division in your group feel unwanted at the expense of another.
Guess Shamim didnt get the memo when he took office.

Well UK fans can get some early sleep, wake up at 4AM to catch the game. We don't have options like that. Game starts at 10PM and go on for the whole night. We make the bigger sacrifice, accept it.

Biggest sacrifice who makes are the Sri Lankan astronauts who doesn't have the luxury of crisp clear images and sound sound transmission.

Hey hey hey...hold on a sec...
i had to wake up 9 in the morning, on a winter Friday morning to watch Bangladesh bat!
That is a sacrifice and a half!
My ONLY day off from my 60+ hr a week work schedule, nothing means more to me than the Friday morning sleep in!!
Sacrificing that only to watch Bangladesh bat after winning the toss is like a self inflicting torture of poking my b***s with a needle.
So, you vindeshi people'era, stop whining.
P.S. You can kick Shamim, i have no problem with that.

Taking off during the working hours is more sacrificing, it hurts your pocket. Sacrificing sleep (Comfort) isn't a big deal.

sadi,
have you ever managed to fall asleep 5 0r 6 hours before a BD match?
Tossing and turning under the duvet with out managing to go to the land of nod is more difficult than many people might realise.
The clock suddenly refuses to tick,
the seconds turn in to minutes,
the minutes turn in to hours.....sounds familier???
