Match Thread: Alok v Sarkar, OD4, Sim League
Hello and welcome to sunny Melbourne for the fourth match of the Simulation Series between Team Alok and Team Sarkar. News is that there have been a few showers this morning but it's starting to clear and should remain that way for the rest of the day. Pundit has one the toss and sent Team Alok in. This drop in pitch has a fair bit of grass on it so there may be some lateral movement. I'm thinking 200 is about an average total.
One change for Team Alok, Ian W has been dropped and Mona has been brought into the squad and the Team Sarkar side is the same one that was defeated two days ago.
The umpires walk out onto the field, followed by Team Sarkar, followed by Hfan and Unknown...play will start shortly

The last five overs were not productive. Lets put our heads down and get this run rate back up to four.

A great over. We desperately need a few more of these and get our run rate over four. In case it rains later on in the game we also need a few wickets in hand. Heres hoping for the best...

Four runs an over, thats not bad at all. And now our next target should be to put together a good partnership worth well over hundred.

Why is there a sudden drought after a sudden successsion of runs? Looks like we both are a little tentative whilst approaching our half century.

well done to Hfan and Unknown for their 50s. They seem to have compiled yet another 100 run opening partnership.
