Looking forward for some run in next match.
Excelent bowling from a young man.
Last time it was Nazmul and this time it's Aftab.
Great job.

Aftab's bowling brought the game back to life - hope he gets MOM award for it. Sometimes it would be nice to give that to someone on the losing team. I don't know if he actually did any bowling on the U-19 team - is this performance a fluke or could he become the pace allrounder Bangladesh desperately need to replace the likes of Mushfiq and Sujon? Although the way Aftab has batted in tests and ODIs, I don't know what the fuss is all about.

Not sure what's happening, even Michael clarke got 6 wickets in today's match who had only 7 wickets in last 52 first class matches, and here aftab is getting a 5-for. But its hard to get assured. We used to have a hat-tricker in the team who could hardly bowl in last few series.

I'd like to hear from Sameer or someone in Dhaka on Aftab's bowling. Maybe Coach McInnes had something on his bowling before, although I can't remember that he did.

If only bangladesh could score another 50 runs and get to 200, we would at least stop being humiliated in every game. How much harder is that when your batsmen keep throwing away wickets. What did Habibul Bashar have to say for himself today?

Please don't knock Alok Kapali's bowling without any logic. Kapali was rarely used as a bowler despite having good credentials - the same goes for Ashraful and Rajin. So we can't really say Alok's bowling went up or down, he was never used.

I think Aftab performance will bring the end of Mushfiq and Chacha's ODI career.

Did Aftab got these wickets luckyli or he is really a good bowler?????
If he can bowl well like today's match in the next few matches then he
will be the real allrounder for Bangladesh.
Any way, congrats Aftabe Ahemed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What about Nazmul????? He did bowl well today!!!

Great job Aftab. I surely hope the mgmt take a good look at your bowling and keep you bowling. We really need a good bowling/batting allrounder not multi skilled player like Mushfiq or Chacha.

man....this is too amazing...there have been many of these though. But lets hope he gets more bowling and he doesn't get exposed by the batsmens as well when he bowls.

aftab's bowling:::lot of promise..but the question is how far can he go?!?!
obviously his performance will deem Shujon chacha & Musfiq useless...Mushfiq might just survie for eing DW's favourite...but Chaha's over....for sure..after his out, I thought afatab was finished too..but he bounced back..good for him...he seems to be capale of filing in for teh allrounder spot & possibly a middle order position...opening still remains an issue

this is one thing about the u19 guys, they can spark every now and then. one, if not other. from nafis to nazmul, all showed some performance here and there. just that they are not consistant. but again, they are showing performance inconsistantly when the senior guys are consistantly playing bad.

a 5 for, for the country is good, specially when taking the ball in an ODI for the first time, and even more specially when that makes the result of the game "non humiliating".

CONGRAT AFTAB. WAY TO GO.

long time ago, i made a thread with a bunch of players name in it, leaving it upto the reader to figure out what the list is all about. it gonna be pretty easy now to figure out thought. here it is:

Atahar Ali Khan
Mohammad Rafique
Minhazul Abedin
Khaled Mahmud
Mohammad Ashraful
Mohammad Ashraful
Khaled Mahmud
Javed Omar
Aftab Ahmed

I think the main thread was pretty interesting as many people had hard time figuring it out. might wanna have a look HERE if interested.
