I replied to this post. There is no 'atm' used here. So I compared their whole career.

Is the pitch good for bowling, or did we make a mess of this?

i am not expert but hope coaches and selectors figure it out...i understand it's an ODI after long test match but players will ability and form playing in ODI and who can quickly assess the situation might have to reshuffled or get the spot...they have based the ODI team based on recent test batting success and added one or two ODI specialist based on recent showings...can't comment on the players' mental blocks as this problem existed before and still exists

Drop down to 8 to do what? Can he hit boundaries at will or will rely on the tail enders?

Mire to Shakib Al Hasan, FOUR, edged, but it is thick enough to evade gully by a long way. It was a good ball slanted across the left-hander and third man should have had it covered, but a bit of sloppy work gives away a fortunate boundary.
15.1
Mire to Shakib Al Hasan, no run, beats him! Shakib was stuck on his back foot, looking for the guide through point or third man. But Mire does not provide the requisite width and cuts him in half

Shakib trying to score fasts like T20 but he gota realize we are 3 wkts down

And what is he going to do at 4 or 5 anyway other than getting out early? He's better off dropping down in the low-order.

Need 250 minimum. Flat wicket and without Taskin its going to be a uphill battle, knowing how we are undisciplined and lacking venom upfront..

But therein lies the problem Is he a bowler or a batsman? I think the team management thinks of him as a batsman. A batsman at number 8 is as good as a tail ender.
