Ronaldo had a terrible game. I would have even subbed him off for someone else. RM had really good chances in the first half the worst being Ozil's miss. I was hoping for a grandstand finish but unfortunately it didn't happen. RM have only themselves to blame.

Feel sorry for Mourinho. He deserves a UCL title with RM.

FT: Real Madrid 1-2 Atletico Madrid

Lost the Spanish Cup Final, after having a grip and control of the majority of the match. And we just let it go, just like that. Missed so many opportunities, which I think a 10 yo kid could score. On top of that, it looked like they didn't have the determination and hunger. Atletico also had the loudest fans at the Bernabeu(!) Atletico sat back and pounced Madrid on their weakness, defending set-pieces & exploiting the out of position defenders.

Anyhow, I think the ref was a tad biased and could have made better decisions, regarding YC's, but what's done is done. Atletico has beaten us after 14 Years, and what better way, than a Cup Final at Madrid's own backyard!

Whereas for Mou, I guess it's over. His mission in Madrid was a failure, in terms of expected output. I would like to see him gone, and some other guy build on the foundation he laid. A few players need to be offloaded as well. And defence needs to be shored up esp. the RB, please FFS!

Now to wait for the new season in hope and anticipation after the summer transfer window massive shopping.

I am devastated with the result. These poor defensive showings and piss weak finishing have been a problem for a while now. These mistakes cost us a spot in the Champions League final and now it has cost us again. I feel sorry for Mourinho.

Actually Maysun bhai i'm not looking for to the summer transfer window as there is a lot of talk of Ronaldo leaving. Aguero might be coming. Bale definitely won't be coming and Neymar will probably be at Barca. We might lose Higuain and/or Alonso in the process. Di Maria is linked to a move to Man City and Benzema might be leaving.

Tough times ahead.

IMO,

CR7 won't leave. He will see out his contract, I am certain about that. One among Benzema/Higuain should leave. I would prefer Higuain to stay, as Higuain at his worst >> Benzema at his worst. Alonso is getting old, and he is getting susceptible as he has shown this season. Better to offload him, get some cash rather than letting him leave for free next year. Di Maria is highly inconsistent. That being said, I would keep and use him in the rotation system. But he should not be the first choice. We need a better winger.

Among the defence, I think Albiol should leave. Carvalho is leaving. Ramos and Varane first choice. Pepe second fiddle to them and we should probably buy a good veteran defender and a good RB to replace Arbeloa, who should be offloaded as well. Looks like, Madrid might exercise the buy back clause in Carvajal's contract at Leverkusen. He was a good prospect at RM B and shouldn't have been loaned out in the first place, with basically no RB right now.

Modric is gaining confidence and with the recent minutes he has seen under his belt, he is looking quite sublime actually. Has that creative touch. So a pairing of Modric-Khedira in the long run may be good. But, I want to see Juve's Vidal/Pogba, City's Silva, and one of Falcao/Cavani next season.

Of course, more additions are need to be made, but this is where I am right now.

[EDIT] Oh and Kaka should leave. Not doing us any good by paying him millions and make him sit on the bench or the stands or not doing him any good either. The WC in Brazil is a year away, I think he should fancy a spot in the squad at least, by going somewhere where he will get many minutes to play.

I would rather want Benzema to stay rather than Higuain. I still think Benzema has a lot more to offer and plays well in big matches compared to Higuain. Pogba would be a great addition to the club. I agree with you about Modric. Really is a class player and has shown how talented he is. He should be part of Madrid's long terms plans.

Our first step needs to be getting rid off Kaka. He was such a promising player but has been disgraceful at times for Madrid. Wish him the best of luck though.

Real Madrid star Mesut Ozil is very happy with life at the club and has no desire to leave at the end of the season, says his father.

It is believed that a number of high-profile players will leave los Blancos in the summer, including Angel Di Maria, Fabio Coentrao and Pepe, but it appears the 24-year-old will not be one of those following coach Jose Mourinho out of the club.

“Özil is very happy in Madrid," Mustafa Ozil told Marca.com. "He loves the club, the city and the fans, which have in all this time been really affectionate towards him. In that way we are really happy. Mesut feels very much at home playing at Real Madrid."

Despite a consistent season at Madrid, which has included nine league goals and 13 assists, Mustafa still firmly believes his son can improve further.

“Right now he's playing at a great level, but I think he can still improve," he continued. "He is only 24, with a long way to go. I'm proud of what he has achieved so far, but he can do even better.”

Wow Monaco to make 85 million pound offer for Ronaldo.

I'd hate to lost CR7 obviously but i would love to see him and Falcao play together. Monaco are looking like a threat...

Seems like all Madrid players are trying to talk up Bale sp he comes to the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo still hasn't signed a new contract

Cavani will most probably come to Madrid.

Isco has apparently signed with Madrid.

Good signing if true. Just wondering what position he would be playing in the team if he wanted game time. Atm Ozil/Modric are kinda in his position as a playmaker.

If he is in the team as a winger then that will slow down his development as a footballer.
