Ideally we shouldnot lose anymore wickets. However, I have a feeling we will lose chacha's wicket (hope I am wrong!). If that does happen please let it be after we get to 120 odd!

Same here Tosh ..... WICB should shut down that site!!!!!!

I'm just grateful I can follow the game somehow. At least I'll be able to see the ODIs and Tests live .... so no worries there!!!

CricHorizon, Be patient please. I can't bug them every other minute asking for scores. John Gloster is with the team in the dressing room now, so I've to ask around the WICB officials, or the ground management. They've been nice so far.

Guys, please do not ask for updates. CB and oracle has been doing a tremendous job bringing in the scores periodically. Yes, we love to get up-to-the-minute updates. But we got to understand the reality.

I'd request you to discuss the progress & various aspect of the game and may be possible outcome instead. You do your part and they will their's.

to pompous

From WICB

A TALL, gangling fast bowler, standing at six feet, six inches, Washington captured 20 wickets at a decent average of 22 runs apiece in seven first-class matches for the West Indies Development 'B' team in the 2004 Carib Beer Series.

Only 20 years old, the former Jamaica youth team pacer, has been fast-tracked into the West Indies squad by the regional selectors, who named him among the 16 players for the preparatory training camp in Jamaica ahead of the England tour.

His immaculate and probing line and length, complemented by his ability to generate bounce from a high action and straight approach to the wickets, are his greatest assets.

He did not reap big rewards in the Carib Cup with his best performance being three for 23 but in almost every innings he bowled, he got at least two batsmen out but the selectors believe he has the attributes that can be harnessed.

Washington is a graduate of the Shell Cricket Academy.

Default Bangladesh & Da Islands - not so different...

Think about it...

Our positive stereotypes - warm, whole hearted people, quick to a smile, always ready to extend the welcome mat, die-hard fans for a cause

Our negative steretypes - emotional to a fault, prefer to "addafy" or "lime" over hard word, prone to disorganization.

At this point, the cricket teams are alike as well:
Batting - talent is there but indisciplined and prone to shots w/o footwork.

Bowling - whole hearted and honest, but lacking just that class. Also penetrativeness of attack is somewhat one-dimensional - spin for Bdesh, pace- for Windies.

Even ethnically, brown and black are just a few shades of melanin apart.

My conclusion? Pass the lemonade maan... We mates ... Ahen bhai ek kaap cha khaan, shuk-dukher kotha koi.
