13.01 We are back to square one with another shower hitting the ground. It is really pelting down now.

The players and more than 80% of the fans here took it for granted that BD will win this very easily.
This is what happens when we take our opponent very lightly!

Raise your hand how many of you thought I was stupid when I said it was a blunder that Mashrafee took batting after winning the toss?
(No, no I'm not gonna think you are stupid if you do).

Rain should stop, even if we lose. A draw with this team due to rain, will be more shameful. We are looking like a loser at the moment, if they can change the situation in 3nd innings, we have a chance to save our face atleast.

murad bhai,
our biggest opponent is our own players' complacency, lack of temperament, and stunted growth and maturity as cricketers.

This tour so far have given us too many surprises and dramas.
And it aint over yet!!
The WI board names one team and then fields a completely different team.
Yesterday, it was the WI fans who were praying for rain.
Today, only within a matter of 24 hours, we are praying for rains.
Things are happenings and they are happening very quickly.
Its a see-saw ride.
This is far from over.
The surprise will continue. Still 3 whole days left and it could provide some more surprise and dramas for us.
This is anything but a boring otherwise usual series.

1.12pm The news still isn't good I'm afraid. It's still raining, and the covers are still on. It'll be a while before we can get some more play.

He should have bowled first since it was raining over-night. The weather was also very bad. It doesn't matter if the wicket is very good for batting or not. In this type of condition, bowling first is the sensibile decision.
BTW I don't think it was Mash who took the decision. I saw Siddons looking at the wicket when the rain stopped. Mash was warming up with the other players that time. It could be Siddons who made the decision as always. He might put the blame on Mash though (he is expert on it).

Sharthak is a frustrated fan: "Are we, the fans in Bangladesh supposed to be treated like this when we sit whole night to watch our team play? Both boards should take the responsibility for giving us such a hard time. It is 5 minutes past midnight, and if play doesnt start within an hour, i think my bed would be a better place to go. Some thought process should have taken place while "fixing" this fixture."

Is it due to taking lightly or lack of ability ?
The players have just got a lesson after losing to IRE and the captain is fired. More over the alternative team has provided some opportunity to come out of that grave. They were taking a lot of time to get set. No body was out playing big hits etc don't suggest that they have taken it lightly. I felt, They simply don't have the skills to bat at their will. 6 gone and it could even be allout if the inside edges would go on to stums and missed catches would be taken.
Captain wasn't the problem, it's the coach (Sorry Couldn't avoid if it's a repeatation). Our players aren't improving technically. Technical mistakes don't generally gets corrected in self development method. Not a single player has shown even bits and pieces technical improvement in last more than a year under this coach. He may be a brilliant guy bit he isn't capable of teaching/training. Again, that's my opinion.
