thats explains a lot. there are some great players who didn't have to work very hard to bowl a inswinger or execute a perfect cover drive. but there are some who really worked hard for it and only they can tell other how to get it right.

Its a very widely known fact that many great coaches were actually pretty mediocre as players. Like many great teachers were mediocre as students. Strange cycle.. but true.

either way I want DADA to be our coach in the near future. Darun Hobe..
Seems like you don't have to be a great player to be a great coach but it doesn't harm in any way if you were.

Personally i like Dada. But he is too arrogant to be a coach for our national team. We dont wanna see personal clashes between the coach and the players. So no way dada can be a good choice for us. And finally he is still playing for india.

Nasser Hussein always been supportive of Bangladesh cricket even when bangladesh toured england for natwest series in 2005. I remember he attended a party for BD team and gave speech in which he was optimistic about bd cricket. So i think he was just praising ash in the post game show.

Its evident from comments tht Nasser LOVES our cricket a lot. He said about Ashraful tht he'd pay to watch Ash anyday. Its a BIG compliment.

As a player, i love Nasser Hussain. He had that strength, charisma and ability to nurture a young team and mould them into a proper shape.
Things he has done with that crap English team he used to captain is simply amazing.
I would give him a big big credit for the English team winning the Ashes back in 05.
His years and years of hard work did paid off with that success.
But as a coach??
still remains to be seen.
im in a middle ground about this option.
Lets see what happens.

What makes you think he will have personal clashes with the BD player in 10/11 years time?
2019 - Dada leading the BD boys.

The chances of nasser becoming our coach is gettinh greater with other coaches turning down the offer.

Same in football.. otherday in match of the day they were discussing about this issue.. and some1 said.. the reason great players arent great coaches is they expect the player to be on their quality.... but in a team you always have diff style, type and quality players.
It's just hard for a great player to become a great coach..

In an interview with SKY Nasser hussain said he even doesn't wanna coach England team(during worldcup). He is happy where he is now.. ie commentator..
So i am not sure if he would come to BD for coaching.
