Undefeated
Great to WIN after the Celto-Indo-Lankan experience.
BTW guys, Bangladesh remains UNDEFEATED in T20 cricket. Let's see if Ash can go for the record and win two in a row in a cricket tournament at this level ...

since i've joined BC there have been only 2-3 matches i haven't followed real time out of the 100+ we've played...this being one of the few.
must post at least once in the match thread...decent win...would have been more impressed with the batting performance, but it wasn't a terrible effort. optimally we should have chased this target in 15 overs, but 17.4 will do.
good to see ash score some runs at a healthy SR...aftab needs to cool down, and nazim after he hit 73 in the practice match, seems to be our top T20I prospect!
way to go nazimuddin!!! keep up the great work.

Not a bad win, but remember they are playing against a non test team. The only test team they are playing against is Pakistan, might be tough for them with boom boom Afridi there, they have to get him out quick, tht is their only hope, he will just hammer them for sixes, this guy is relentless in his hitting. I think that they should play Junaid. they should win comfortably against Uganda, Scotland and once again against Kenya.
anyhow, Mushy did well on his 19th birthday, 2 stumpings. Mushy is a slow scorer so he should come in at N0 6 or 7. Ashraful did the right thing in bringing in Mashrafe up the order, he is also a boom boom guy when he gets going.Anyhow, let's wish them all the luck and hope they can score more thab 150 runs.

I was hoping Bangladesh would win, but the real challenge is tomorrow's game against Pakistan who plays 20/20 games. Bangladesh has to get Boom boom Afridi out very quickly or else he will hammer them. I think that Bangladesh scored too slowly today, they have to have at least 80 runs in 10 overs and have at least 7 wickets on hand to score another 90 runs in the last 10 overs.
This should have been a more convincing win, anyhow, they won.

bangladesh did well today.but we should play much better against pakistan.i hope tommrow ash will give the ball to riad before he bowls.every one knows riad is a better bowler than him.we shd give chance to our main bowlers before the part time bowlers.
nazimuddin played well.but i still feel sakib shd come back in the team cause in the main 20/20 world cup sakib will become a good player for bangladesh as WI and SA are not good spin playing countries.
it will be hard for team management to bring sakib instead of nazim as he played really well today. But it will be interesting to see how he performs tommrow.
all the best to TIGERS.

At the end its a good win... only a WIN will count. Doesnt matter how it came. Slow or Fast.
Good to see Ash getting some runs before playing against Pak..
This Nazim is a fine batsman.. I wanted to see him in Test. Hes a perfect No.3 batsmen for our Test cricket. Hes quite experienced as well.. played 74 innings, averaging 36+, got 6 centuries and a double, 13 fifties. Hope he does good against pak as well... Good luck to him.. Nazim wont be opening in ODI & Tests..
I'm more concerned about Tamim, I don't know when willl he start playing his natural game although I don't know whats that (he always say he will play his natural game). He mostly gets out with a score of 11. Most likely, its an unlucky number for him.
I think very soon.. SN and Tamim will be out of the team.. If Junaid keep scoring like he did in domestic cricket, he will replace Tamim, and I think hes better than Tamim as he has more shots than him (told by Sohel Bhai)
Hope we can do the same against Pak.. Their bowling is not so great..

A major point that I hope people do not forget is after 10 overs, Bangladesh was at a very good 86/2. I will guarantee you that if we can do that during the Pakistan match and the WC, we will beat Pakistan and we will advance to atleast the 2nd round of the WC. The only reason why it took us a while to chase down the score is because we played it safe and took singles. If we had not been chasing a target, I think we could have easily put up a score of 200+.

Atleast a good start to the tour, now the challenge is to keep it up.....let's see what they do.
BTW - I don't see how Alok fits in the whole scenario of 20/20 cricket, I don't remeber him being a big hitter....unless ofcourse the selectors are trying to pave the way for him to come back to international cricket for Bangladesh.

Please give Tamim a break, he is a bit reckless but can score runs, and he is still young, not yet 19.
Aftab has to be careful, he is a good slugger, but sometimes get carried away, anyhow 20/20 is a slug fest.
Let's hope that Ash has a game plan against Pakistan, if they can do well without even winning, they have a chance againt the West Indies and South Africa. so let's pray for these young fellas.

nobody is against tamim.. hes been given many chances.. hes in the team cuz hes a hard hitter.. and after 18 matches he has a strike rate of 63 and averaging only in the 19's. I know in ODI's he was in playing according to the match situations in some matches but in T20, he has no pressure. EVEN in the practice matches in Mirpur he played really bad except one match. He batted twice in a single match but stilll failed. He & SN always gets out with the similar deliveries. I think he should be sent to the Academy & A team to correct his shot selections. Hes very young so he has time to play for national team in the future..

Any video of the match!
And impressed by Kapali's patience, a 19 ball 17 is not a bad intl come back.
