We had a great opportunity to win twice in a row and both times, it was our batsmen who failed us. Bowling Rajin was a mistake but wuldn't have mattered had we managed to post around 200 on the board.
By the way, are these WI wickets really bad or what ?
We could have easily won today. Ash, Sumon, Rajin and Kapali (he needs to be dropped) have completely failed us. They lasted 17 balls all together.

Next match: Throw Bashar out
Throw Alok out
Bring in Faisal and Shariar
Let the opening pair consist of two specialists.
Also: Cut down the top and middle orders' match fee by 110%

i think our batsmen will do better in tests where there will be no need of scoring fast.

Yes, history shows, this one is bad, only crossed 200 a couple of times, I think.

It's not a bad wicket, a bit slow.
Windies prefer a faster wicket

WI had only 4 fours in their innings ( & yes 2 sixes), we had 3 fours.

Again it is a sad story of our batsmen being overwhelmed and beaten by their own ineptidue.
Our bowling has shown some true ability and fighting spirit. Wel done to our bowlers I say. As for our batsmen, there really isnt much to say is there?
Congratulations WI for winning the series. It been an entertaining one and you gotta admit that we gave you some real scares.
At the end of the day, a scare doesnt count for much. We lost again and thats the hard reality.
We can only look forward to the third match, and hopefully we will actually win!

I agree with you..alok and bashar must be droped redarless his canptaicy. A player can't stay in the national team without form. i doubt about both of their form.THEY MUST BE DROPER ATLEAST FOR A MATCH
Also: Cut down the top and middle orders' match fee by 110%

The second game wasn't as close as some of you are making it out to be. It was a 25 over game after all, so a 23 run loss is quite big. We really should have done better.
We have a problem with our top order. We can't ever take advantage of the fielding restrictions because we lose 3 wickets in the first 5 overs. Hannan did fine yesterday but we need to find someone to partner him for the next match who can stay on with him and score at a decent enough rate. Considering that Kapali will most likely be replaced by Faisal in the next match, we need to think about the batting order. I think Rana is better down the order. So its a choice between keeping Ash or trying Faisal I suppose.
