Would be unfair if Anamul gets dropped in the first ODI. After that would depend on his performance.

Zia has shown me nothing with his batting. You can still include him in the line up for his bowling, because we have such a dearth of good pacers and are confused as to who will show up. But I think to include his batting as justification for selection is wrong, because from what we've seen he's the worst slogger we have. Razzak and even Shafiul are wayyyyy better in slogging.

Hi Roey, thanks for the welcome
Yes i've seen him bat a few times and he can hit big..yet i agree 'slogger' is the best way to describe him.
However, he hasnt taken any chances given to him in national team...
I think we should give him a final chance in this series, because if his slogging pays off, we could pick up some very useful runs near the end, and in a mirpur pitch under lights that could be useful...
And as u say, his military medium pace could be useful, he can bowl nagging line and length keep it tight...more tighter than rubel would anyway

Yeah, I'm just warning you not to get your hopes up on his batting. Though I would like nothing better if I'm made to eat my words.
A Mashrafe Zia opening bowling combo is something I would like to see. Two tanks.

Lol, why?
I know he has slimmed down a bit, but that's even better isn't it? He can be a more agile tank.
And if you mean all the wear and tear he suffered because of the injuries, I don't think that will stop him from giving his 100% which is what he always does, and thus ends up getting injured! It's a cycle. But one thing for sure, Mash is the man.

Its hard for FBs to comeback after so many injuries. But hope Mashrafee will come back with some eye shattering performance.

So who should play the 3rd ODI?
Now that we won the series, that its self few questions:
Same team?
Anamul replacing Tamim or Shamsu?
Is Rubel ok? Should he take a rest?
Will Zia play? Replacing whom?
Any chance Sunny replace Razzak?

Same team hands down, no question of complacency when you have a Banglawash at stake!
