Thanks for the link to drishtipat. I have known some of those members from my school days. I think that is also a platform of intellectuals and a forum worth visiting.

This is like taking a stroll in a history museum.

How things were like in what many refer to as the golden age in Banglacricket forum.

Sometimes I wish that I could time travel and join this forum in 2003/4.

So many intelligent discussions taking place...and the subsequent years after.
I try my best when bored or on my bed visiting threads from this era.

I am too young...

Aklemalp is probably the guy who will master Bangla in 24 hours just to impress a Bangladeshi girl.

Guys, learn.

Baundele still posts on cricinfo? haven't seen it..Most of the members mentioned was very active back in the days..

Not too sure how or what has transformed BC to this level, very hard to tell.

Back in the day, the oldies use to drag an average poster to a very good level.
They inspired a lot of young members - made what looked a rubbish post into a enjoyable, funny and fruitful discussion. This day's when someone post something that's irrelevant or rubbish, you have some members schooling them.. like they are head masters, teachers... etc.. I really enjoyed those days.. wish we can have those members back active again..

Naah Naah Naah!! We not only schooled them, we wrecked them over burning coal, lol. Yes we did. Remember KDPP? There were so many more slangs. We kinda had a big family who would give a person a hard time and them bring him in to the family.

Sohel bhai had the hardest introduction to the BC forum. Many thought he was another punk (not Puck, I miss him too) just trying to show off his English skills and deep knowledge in EVERYTHING. Come back!!!!!! Bring Beamer and his beach volleyball chicks with you. JK. Just Beamer is fine.

As time passes members grow on you. You have these personal relationship as long as everyone is honest. Asaad (Wahid) is one of those for me. Actually many in this forum. BK is the boss though.

I wish I could host all of the BC members at one time. What a gathering it would be. I'd just like to shake hands with Reverse_swing and not wash it.

Saw KDPP being used and never knew what it means and from what it originated from. I haven't seen it being used anymore.

I have my own warped understanding of what it is: the name of a news organization. This might be far from what it truly means

The closeness with members is not a new thing. I have always implicitly refer to all of you as my extended family. The support I received from you guys when I lost my father, even our beloved reverse_swing came out of his more comfortable abode to extend his compassion. I'll remember that for the rest of my life. Little gestures do mean a lot to someone like me.

Even though I may never have an opportunity to converse with those members mentioned, I will continue to read their posts of yore.

The members that I've met were all cool down-to-earth guys(Roman, Rifat, iDumb, Ajfar, Mufi). They are all knowledgeable (very) individuals...and I wish that we had more time to have conversations.

BK bhai is the kindest human being I've ever met, he has that charisma that makes you want to give him a hug after every sentence he completes

Dilscoop too, cool dude he is...

Great people, great friends..we all are here because of cricket. Enjoy the game.

Love you all (from brockley to Donal C to Vepu to icricket to jeesh to MHRAM to Indyeah to One World to adamsu to mas_uk to SportingBD to Nadim bhai to Miraz to Jadukor to Night_wolf to Zunaid to al Furqaan to those who I have missed to mention )

Not to forget my spirit animal of this forum, Zeeshan Mahmud

Everyone has a list (favourites). Don't think Mufi, Idumb was in the golden era...
They are like the modern boys (unless they were disguised or had different users in the golden era)
they came after... hence probably left out...

But I still cant stand Zeeshan getting special mention

#Fakenews. Its FAKE. Its a leaked document. #Fake.

Yeah. Well Orpheous didn't make it to your leaked document

It was illegal by the way to leak the names...

#fakenews.

Every meeting with a BC member is one to cherish. You get the oppportunity to meet people who have shared with you the joy of following BC Cricket.

And those guys that I have met, the first time meeting members from this forum, iDumb, Mufi, Rifat, Roman bhai, and our Shakib look-alike Ajfar...It was a memorable moment. Playing cricket with you guys, the joy of that I hold dear.
