Even if it is money talk all the way, we havent done ourselves any favor by losing to Scotland, for example. If such a "modified programme" do come to practice, r we going to fight it claming unfairness or try to make the best out of it?

faltu mia is in rare form today but he is absolutely correct.. bekub er dol is the right term here... reduced program is understandable - home only games? now that is plain stupid

Moreover, our performance is much better in away matches rather than the home games.I am in favor for reducing the nubmer of games for the sake of the players health. But limiting us only to home series is absolutely bullsh......ICC should put pressure on BCB to restructure our domestic league and to improve playing conditions rather than restricting us from playing abroad. And the players should get more responsible from now on.No matter what we say or what the board does to keep us playing abroad, team performance will ultimately decide our fate.

In case we are restricted to home turf only, Bangladesh Cricket Board should start preparing an itenary so that the tigers can have frequent overseas trips to play against top county or state teams. That would be a healthy replacement for overseas matches against the top 8 teams. BCB must prepare a 5 year itenary and get it approved by the ICC. We are beyond the stage of getting laughed at. So its time we make ICC eat their own words. With such overseas trips, we would be able to get valuable practice on different types of pitches e.g. fast and bouncy (Australia, SA), spin friendly (India, Sri Lanka), swing friendly (England) etc. Also there would be less fear for national cricket boards of losing money by inviting Bangladesh for away series as few spectators go to county matches on weekdays. Remember, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka- these three who have supported BD in their claim for Test status will be the ones among others taking the decision to restrict BD to home series. So our only way of overturning this decision is to PERFORM. Only when we have started winning regularly against top county or state teams in the world, we will be able to change the ICC decision of forcing us to play only home matches. And yes, we need to shape up our domestic tournament. Players need to regularly score 100s, not just 50s.
