You have a point Mijan.
In Tests and ODIs, Tamim is an also ran.
Anamul and Mominul havent played enough for their numbers to mean provide much of statistical significance other than promise of hope:

I regularly see Tamim and biryani being used in the same sentence. I can see he is fond of food judging by his recent development of fat. However how did the association between biryani and tamim being?
However you cannot have a batsman start huffing and puffing after batting only 10 overs

Sanga scored a triple ton in the test match and we was willing to reach 400. That's class. Sri Lankan food is similar to what we eat. Yet it doesn't affect any of their players. Something to think about.

I think Tamim already peaked. After it's all said and done that England tour will be the highlight of his career. I really hope I'm wrong. We have seen him like this for almost 2 years, and it seems like he's perfectly happy with where he is. We have never had anyone like Tamim in our line up. But with Anamul already in the national team, and Asif not too far away that will eventually change.

tamim may not have scored as prolifically in the last couple of years but i see a big difference in his batting between now and say a year ago. he still scored some 50s and looked like a quality batsman, now he's totally struggling to time the ball and looks uncomfortable and out of sorts out there. he needs to work hard to find his timing and get his confidence back, i believe he'll get back to being one of our best bats.

Shakib was never half the batsman Tamim is.. Tamim is a proper batsman. We all figured that out since 2010.

Lol Shakib could be in the form of his life with the bat, but I'm never comfortable watching him at the crease

Tamim is the best in tests, he should hopefully improve the average to be about 45-50. Mushy however should be the best, he should certainly be averaging 40+, if he did everything right he could've averaged 50+
