Disappointing end of their campaign. But few new talents. Sammy is one of my favorite players but the captaincy was too much for him. West Indies will be a much better team when few of their players recover from injuries. DM Bravo, Bishu, Russell and Barath are their future. Pollard should understand his role and make a decision on his career. He could be a20 ball specialist batsman or commit to Windies and Play FC for T&T. He is a much better batsman than we think he is. Bravo is the life of the team.
This will be my Windies oneday squad
Gayle
Barath
Bravo Jr
Chanderpaul
Sarwan
Bravo Sr
Ramdin
Russell
Bishu
Roach
Taylor
Edwards
Pollard
Sammy
Benn
Miller

It is good to let Shakib off captaincy, it will relieve some pressure. He will be offered captaincy again in a few years when he will be more than ready, Bangladesh will voyage into a new horizon then

I have a crazy idea, but it may work for the better of world cricket. What about doing away with the "West Indies" team, and allowing real countries like Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, Barbados etc to take part in international cricket. Watching T&T play in the CLT20, I got the feeling they played with much more passion than the WI players do. It surely must be difficult to be passionate about a team which is not a country, has no flag and no national anthem. Skin colour itself can no longer be a good enough motivation.
