Thats a lame excuse that they were tired. And if they were not playing than it wouldve been they didnt have much match tests. The straight answer to the problem is simple... We are really not that good. Period. Dont matter what excuse we come up with the fact of the matter is statistics dont lie.. As much as we think highly of ourselves, we are very inconsistent and thats why we are still the number 7-8 team of the world,, be it senior be it junior. Our talents may match India/Australia/Pakistan but our mental strength and dedication doesnt. Thats the bottom line,,

I think one or two match with WI was cancelled and they had something like two weeks rest. Besides if they were really that tired how they beat Eng? The fact of the matter is that they aren't that strong team when others take them seriously. Same thing happened in 2006, Eng took them seriously in QF and smoked them--SA took them seriously in QF 2008 and obliterated them. And now Aus will mostly likey humiliate them in playoffs.
I dont mean to offend you either but you seem like someone who would run say 10m of 50m race and complain about tiredness.

Everything you said is 100% true, but our talents does not match India/Australia/Pakistan, that is a misconception. See hitting fours and sixes does not make one talented, everyone can hit fours and sixes--yes, even the bowlers during slog.

For your information, I have served in US Army, and there was a time I used to run 9 miles every Sunday. I still have quite an able body.

Thats good, but I'm surprised that a person of your caliber would look for excuses. Imagine, you have done many drills and excercises in an army camp and when it's time to go into action you are giving excuses.

I am not giving excuses, I am telling the fact that a teenager will crash sooner or later when limits of his body are stretched too far - it's a very natural thing to happen.

aren't there quite a lot of 19 years old in the Army/Navy? OK, next time we give them 6 months off prior to the world cup.

Thats why I say,, Our talents may match that of India/Australia,, May being the keyword. But I think I dont deny the talents.. We got players Nafis, Ashraful, Mashrafee, Aftab, out of the U19 matches and I think couple of the players are world class despite their dismal stats.

I bet that these U-19 that got unembarrassed in this WC, will become the most successful cricketers that Bangladesh has ever produced when they a few of them get there Caps in 5 years time.

I know you wrote "may", and I was just negating the "possibility."

সবাই গেছে চলে...
ব্যাঘ্র শাবকদের ছেরে
একা একা গহীন বনে,
আমিই শুধু আছি বসে
বদন ব্যাজার করে

Sorry to see you alone Baghmama. Anyway its raining now and its highly unlikely there will be any more play today. Hence the Australian innings will continue tomorrow from where it stopped today. But very little chance for us to stage a come back from here. If we loose this eventually we will play Sri Lanka for 7/8th position. Otherwise if we win we will face England for 5/6th position.

I’m crossing my fingers too. But it is dead true fear by coach prior tourny that batters are real concern and it came as it said. It is easy to score against Bermuda and Ireland. They couldn't produce anything against ENG, SA, AUS proved there is a huge probe with the batters technique and mental aspect. It is now right time for BCB to look at otherwise it will late and same story repetition will go on...

It seems the cubs have lost their way here. I hope that they can at least stay in the final 7, cause it seems that australia will grab the fifth place.

The match is abandoned. Australia advanced to the next round (play off for the 5th place) based on their better Net RR in the tournament.

What is the situation with the U19 team at the moment? Are they continuing?
Or this is the end of this road for them?

This is one of the wiredest result! 18 runs in 6 overs and Aus win the match!!!
10 runs from extra!!! who is this bowler R. Hossain? where is Dolar?
I guess there were some team understanding problem after England match. we lost badly in all matches after that!!!
