looking at the scorecards he seems to be the biggest hitter BD has atm certainly good for t20 matches, my worry is that he looks better on paper than in reality.

probably, mehrab jr shouldn't be anywhere near the t20 side, probably shouldn't be near the 50 over side either (don't mind him being around the test side though).

mehrab jr tends to bat so aggressively in test cricket but sleeps playing 50 over style
needs some brain adjustments

only a couple of innings is not enough to justify such claim, however, i know where you are coming from and no worries, he will improve

Mehrab can do alot for BD if he is played consistently, dropping a player after a series and then calling him back after months to play a match wont do good.Early bloomers are very hard to find.

Yeah you're right Dhrubo. Not a lot of people seem to have picked up on the fact that Mehrab plays spin very well. He likes to take them on. I think seeing the majority of fielders inside the circle during test matches results in him really trying hit over the top, whereas in ODIs, with the field settings a little more defensive, he struggles to get runs. That's a major handicap, but I think he's one to really invest some time in.

He should be given chance to bat a bit up if wickets doesn't fall early.

Dhur, another one of those "good boys". When will our players ever get caught smoking marijuana in the dressing room?
