I hope this ends the make-Shahadat-a-ODI-bowler experiment. Hope to see Nazmul more in the future.

Today, Nazmul was not available for the death overs. He injured his ankle. But, Mushy should have stayed away from Shahadat. He simply is not accurate enough to be effective at death.

Jadukor, thank you bhai for correcting Playmaker. It annoys me when people have a view that is based on things they make up and untrue facts.

I say, and have always said, that Nazmul is our most accurate and reliable bowler. He is the new Mashrafe. Naz is my favourite BD bowler.

In a similar way, Anamul is the next Nasir, and like Nazmul has to be given enough chances and be backed fully.

It was bad captaincy on Mushy's part to keep Shahadat for the last over... we all know that Shahadat can be erratic, so if he is selected for the team, he needs to be handled properly. Captain should have tried get some extra over from Nasir and Riyad. Oh well, all this is part of a learning curve.

But the idea of choosing shahadat over nazmul is quite retarded.

Nazmul was injured (twisted his ankle while bowling). But Mushfiq could always go for Mahmudullah or Nasir even, instead of Shahadat. It was truly painful to watch.
