No point ruing that shot now...he played plenty of stupid shots today and got away with it. time to look forward now...still a fair bit of batting to come to take us to 450 and make a fight of this.

the teams 2 best batsmen both make 70s and 80s, neither convert, not the way it should be.

Well played, Shakib...good fightback.
Rampaul has three wickets so far...the only Windies bowler seemingly capable of taking wickets in this match.

If this team can do the job why would you unsettle the team for favoring a new guy...

Guys cut some slacks for Tamim and Shakib. They are aggressive players by nature and that's how they score runs. If they becomes defensive they normally fails to score.
Let other players score some runs as well.

junaid clearly hasn't worked on his weaknesses as he got out the same way he has a number of times, poor technique when playing the bouncer, if no one else he should be dropped. he scored some runs for the first time in a long time and got re-selected on the back of that one big score, he didn't deserve the recall as he hasn't been scoring runs consistently and hasn't improved on his weaknesses.

I think BD, especially Nayeem, needs to take advantage of the next few overs and score some quick runs so they can play cautiously when the new ball is taken.

Shakib should be sent to Pabna if not any jail. He was an ex-captain. Criminal!
Even Viv Richards would have applied himself and Shakib no Richards.

Junaid got a good ball as well... i am more concerned about Nafees. Nafees's batting simply looks ugly against the pacers

That's why he is vulnerable against genuine incoming fast deliveries.
