Why not bring Taskin intead? Abul can change his role as a batsman and bat at #3.

Hmmm, what if Chachu take the opportunity to field his other nephew? After all, senior Iqbal is the top scoring opening batsman in BCL (scored 242 runs in 4 innings. Jahurul scored same number of runs from 5 innings).

Not expecting any miracle to happen here...but this squad should be able to take the match to at least day four. I reckon Mominul is more of a longer format cowboy. Mominul's batting style suits the longer format better due to his calm presence in the batting wicket and not playing rash shots(Assumption). I think he should stay away from ODI's and T20s until he matures as a player and establishes his reputation as a solid test cricket player first. just my dui poysha.
We should take two front-line spinners and two front-line pacers.
I would Ideally prefer Shakib and Nazmul in the final XI with a slight change in the batting lineup which would leave out Mominul from the final XI.
my XI + Lineup for the 3-day warmup match:
1. Tamim
2. Bijoy
3. Naeem Jahurul
4. Nafees Ayub
5. Nasir
6. Rahim
7. Riyad
8. Mominul
9. Robiul
10. Rubel
11. Abul Hasan
keeping the spinners as a surprise package . I expect Enamul jr. and Gazi combo to be quite lethal unless they prepare a completely lifeless flat demon pitch.

Before the WI series i was backing SN to be in the team. So i dont mind him. In fact i'd be glad if he proves me wrong. But Jahurul has barely got any chances to prove himself whereas SN has gotten countless opportunities and didn't make the most out of them.
I know SN was one of the top scorers in BPL but when i watched him bat i was unimpressed tbh. A stale type of batsmen who only plays the cow corner shot to score boundaries. He doesn't have the variety of shots to last him in international cricket.

Any other cricketer in this situation would have been promptly replaced by selectors. Is SN getting undue extra favor as Akram's distant relative?

He played bpl with back injury and still stuggling with that so no chance.
I don't want him anyway

We should look to Jahurul and Anamul as our top order.

Akram wth? He is asking SN to take his own decision? He is gonna take 7+ days to re over then why didn't you ask Enamul jr too?
Imho, I would pick MH Rubel or Saqlain in place of SN. Because there is no guarantee that sunny won't flop in the first test

I dont understand this loss of faith in Sunny. When has he let us down? I reckon he was VERY unlucky to be out of playing XI. Has great stats in international cricket in the limited opportunities he got.

We need to keep in mind that Tamim has not recovered fully either from his hand injury. We got to have a fit back up for him too.
Akram is putting us in a very complicated situation by taking two injured players from his own clan.

I hope SN plays, and honestly there aren't many better opening batsmen available with the experience and skill, i think the batting is quite balanced now, seeing we dont even have Shakib

Sir Ash coming back. To be honest, based on his record in SL that won't be a bad thing
