Dhoni seems to be a very handy bowler as well for India.

Bangladesh would have been a much more challenging opponent for India.

Not sure whether those teams are better than Bd or not. But Bd would surely challenge india more than others...

I was sure Sri Lanka never had any chance against India. I remember them losing even after scoring 300+ total and India having to chase it down in 40 overs or something. Kohli was the mom in that game and he seems to really like Sri Lankan bowling.

England will try a lot of tactics against India like going for short pitch stuff at the body to unsettle Dhawan and co. If England bats first it will be India's game but if India has to bat first on a spicy pitch then I would say it would be 50:50

what a poor tournament this has been so far, no real competition.

Anyway, India has been remarquably well in this CT , they should win it, I want them to win it after the way they performed.
Their batting has lifted their fielding and bowling performance.
I personally think IPL has played a very good role here.
Dhawan & Bhubaneshwar Kumar are amazing players, rip Shehwag,Gombhir & probably Johir too, don't know how Yuvi will come back.

^ i wonder if they were persistent with the decision if specific team/s would fail to reach the final

^^ They are considering their decision based on the success of the current tournament despite bad weather conditions. Now this 'success' might have something to do with specific team(s) reaching the final.

A team does not necessarily have to be better than SA, WI, Pak and so on to do better than the teams mentioned against a certain opponent.

India is doing great and I am not taking a single bit away from their dominance. But the way Australia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka surrendered was awfully displeasing to the eye. I'm sure Bangladesh would have done much better than them 8 times out of 10 had they faced India.

And for the record, Bangladesh have won 6 out of their last 11 matches against G8 teams. 3 of the losses were absolute nail-biters, 1 was a decent effort while only 1 match went very wrong.
