What did you guys think about the second goal of the phillies. Goalie interference or not?
I am so disappointed. Ovechkin's goal was amazing. He was the highlight of the season.
Sharks and Flames tied at one.

Absolutely interference. But, thats how those thugs play. Habs goalie will see it soon.
A.O wrist shot is unstoppable. He was one of the highlight of the season, no doubt. I wanted the Caps to win, so we could beat them. Rangers are going to be a tough opponent for us.

Yeah baby Habs made it! I actually was able to watch the 7th game. Couldn't watch 5th or 6th game due to exams but really glad they managed to advanced in the next round. Bring on the flyers.

With a 5-3 record in the Conf Q-finals, here are my 2nd round predictions:
(1) Montreal clips Philadelphia (6) in 6
(2) Pittsburgh beats NY Rangers (5) in 7
(1) Detroit defeatd Colorado (6) in 6
(2) San Jose taked out Dallas (5) in 7
Cup fav. still stands as San Jose over Montreal in 7
* ironically, same seeded teams advanced from both conferences.

There is no point in predicting. All the series from now on will be tight and anything can happen really. Boston never managed a win vs Habs in regular season, yet, took 'em to game seven. So, all predictions out the window. However, for the sake of it, my picks :
Pens beat Rangers in 6
Flyers beat Habs in 7
Detriot beat Colorado in 7
Dallas bear Sharks in 6.

Habs took game 1. Bad penalty by Richards in the dying minute...probabably cost the flyers the game. He's almost a sure bet to make the Canadian hockey team in 2011 as a defensive centreman (taking over the role from Chris Draper) but didn't do himself any favour by taking what can only be called a dumb penalty. However, he did a heck of a job shadowing Ovechkin for most part of the series against Caps. Hockey Canada will also look at that. It was very satisfying to see D. Briere getting booed mercilessly.

Pens up 1-0 and what a game! The ice was terrible at the Mellon Arena, a relic from the past, due to the warm weather, and it showed. Pucks were bouncing everywhere all night. Just glad we came out on top after. Fluery wasn't good last night. Many others looked rusty as well. Nine days break is way too many. Rangers are a very good team. Its going to be a fight. May take six games for the Pens to prevail and we will.

Pens and Fleury shut out the Rangers 2-0. We are up 2-0 as well. Superb performance by the best team in the East.

Don't hate me dude. I want a Pens-Habs final. But, you guys need to take care of business first. Pens are firing. This series is far from over though. I respect the Rangers a lot ( not that tanning bed addict Avery ) but I just don't see them beating us. We win in six, maybe five. As a die hard Pens fan for a long long time, finally our turn has come again after a few years of off ice turmoil and we have built the team the right way- through draft. We will compete for Stanley Cup every year for the next ten years starting last year..

I finish my exams tomorrow, so I will be able watch the game between Flyers and habs. Habs will rebound though. Price allowed another softy. Habs on the road have had one of the best record in the NHL. Series has just began.

U think there will be fire works tonight? I liked what Kostopolous did. Show no mercy to the Flyers. Here are my favorite Habs : Kovalev, Kostopolous, Smolinski. Can you guess why?
Best scene from Pens game last night was at the end when Avery was slashing Marc Andre. Well..he ran away to the corner after Gill threw his gloves off and went into a fetal position when Laraque arrived at the scene. What a little bi***. Now go hit the tanning bed..

March of the Penguins continue. 7 games, 7 wins..Every time Rangers scored, we came back and the PP is just dominating. I said earlier Pens in six, maybe five, but it looks like another sweep is on the cards. Go Pens !
