LCPs suck but not nearly as crappy as Pizza Hut or Dominoes.

I doubt that Parise will make an announcement today. He's with his family in Minny for the 4th of July weekend and may make an announcement tomorrow afternoon at the earliest. I'm more interested in Semin at this point. He played well under Datsyuk at the Worlds and may blossom in Detroit. We could use the extra skill.

Semin has crazy talents. One of the illest wrist shot too. But, defensively he is a mess, and that won't sit well with Babcock. He plays when he wants to sometimes. But, no one doubts his talent or goal scoring prowess..

Tough to go wrong with basic Pepperoni once you put a little garlic in the sauce. Anyway, please read my previous post again. There may be a couple of moderation worthy things in there. Just couldn't help myself

I'll go back and edit the "typo" just in case. Already have too many infractions on account of several Razakar and Pakistan related posts.

Don't bother. No one comes here. We ban mods in this thread. Its other way around. This is a semi autonomous territory like Vatican. We are the Popes here..

I'm now convinced that the Flames are run either by retards or evil geniuses. What a convoluted way to go bankrupt and move South of the Canadian border. I suppose every resident of the Tundra has his eventual breaking point unless you're Inuit. They got Iggy, someone who deserves to lift the Cup but won't unless he moves out of Canada, and he won't move without his team.

What do you think? Atlanta Flames again in a couple of years?

They really need to move Iggy, honestly. They are not going anywhere and might as well start rebuilding now. Iggy will still bring very good return. They have no legit centers and now that Ollie has moved on. I would move Kiprussoff too. You have to break it down to build back up again sometimes. They need young players too a la Edmonton.

Calgary won't go bankrupt. They have sell outs on a nightly basis. Don't see any team moving to Atlanta again. That was a disaster. Flames will survive, but they don't help their cause by giving big dollars to Hudler or Widemen.

Did you see their no.1 pick? A fifteen year old who looks like he sells lemonade outside my street.

Now the trackers filled with pointless chatter from fans of smaller teams discussing unknown players unknown for good reason. It is 1:40 AM here in Dhaka and I gotta bail now bro. Busy day ahead tomorrow.

My hunch with Parise : Either he makes a decision today ( doubt it ) or on Thursday, but not tomorrow. Tomorrow being a holiday means there will be no one around for business. He will think it through tomorrow at his place while Koivu and Heatley bring him apple pies. Then, Thursday he will announce. That's my gut feeling

Minnt star trib just talked to Parise and he basically said that he hasn't even talked to his fiance yet. So, for whatever its worth, I think we are in for more waiting.

I think he ends up back in Jersey. That old bastard Lou is guilt tripping him..
Agreed. All that trading, and UFA signings will fall into place once Parise gets his stuff sorted.

Congrats man! I will pray for your your child's and bhabi's health.

Well, congrats Sohel. I'm 99.99% sure now that Suter is headed your way. Must be nice to get a replacement #1 as soon as your old one retires.

Oh and btw, that Derek Roy trade really caught me off guard yesterday. Even though he has only 1 year left on his deal, I thought he'd bring back more than Ott. Buffalo's center depth sucks major *** now.

Hodgson + one of Ennis/Grigorenko will be centering the top two lines now. Pretty awful for a team looking to make the playoffs. Roy had his issues, but for a team with a lack of talent at center, I thought he'd get locked up long term.

Burke fails at getting a top 6 center yet again. Richie, Carter, Ribiero, Roy all dealt and not one to the Leafs.

GET US A FREAKIN CENTER BURKE.

^Thanks bro, but I'll wait until Suter's formal announcement that he's finally a Red Wing. Suter is the way to our real target: Weber.

Jagr's move to Dallas isn't a surprise at all. He has become the hockey equivalent of a glitzy Vegas Casino act. Overpaid irrespective of current performance due to well earned and formidable reputation from his best years left behind a while ago. That being said, he won't give you less than at least 50 points as long as he's playing. Watch him team-hop until he fails to do that in a couple of years.

I cannot believe I'm literally losing sleep, became intimately familiar with Kris Freakin' Newbury and have managed to put my life on hold for Zach Freakin' Parise of all players and I'd much rather sign Semin at this point!

Not Malkin, not Giroux, not Iggy, not Vinny, not Kovalchuk, not Crosby, not Stamkos, not Ovechkin, and not even a washed up Teemu Freakin' Selanne but little Zach Freakin' Parise from Minny!

What the F is WRONG with me?

That's Suter's agent. Guess we will finally see an end to this.

Suter and Parise are both in Minnesota right now, at Parise's home, to celebrate 4th of July together. Imagine if they get both.
