Nice comment by Razzak about opening with the new ball -- "It's normal," with a shrug.

Alibangali,
What I'm really happy about is that it was a win that was *not* built by a single player's brilliance. Of the 11 players ...
Ash, Sakib, Saddique and Mahmadullah got runs.
Sakib, Rasel, Nameen and Razzak were economical and got at least one wicket.
Mahmadullah and Rubel didnt get quite as good stats, but neither of them got carted around the park and they both got a wicket.
SO 7 of the 11 players had a good game ... and that will win it for you more than half the time.

We need the pace bowlers to come back in form (i.e Rubel and Shahadat). Shahadat might not get a chance in ODI, but on the long run we can't just depend on spinners and Mashrafe..

Yes and we need to do this regularly now.
in the past we have always relied on a select few players to get us the win and when they failed, the team failed.
Hopefully now when one batsmen fails another can take it on to score runs and when one bowler is not getting wickets then another one can do it instead.

Guys, tie up your lungi knots and sit tight - Lala mama is back! Watch in awe as he takes spin bowling in limited overs cricket to new heights.

Yeah, he did a good job today. Held the inning together and set up a platform. Now the question is, is he done for the next twelve months?

Bd should beat the WI 3-0. Good to see Ash battling to get a score. Raj picked up 4 but his line is really bad. 3 to 4 balls in an over are bowled wide of the leg stump if the batsman move to the offside and leave it alone. I don't know how bowled initially but it seems like he doesn't trust his ability to deceive batsman in flight or if he could turn it. Watching strange and illogical tactics being employed by captains and coaches are nothing new for BD fan but somethings I just don't get. Why does Shakib refuse to put in slips or close fielders when a new batsman walks in?

And some people were criticizing him for playing like this. They were asking for more 4's & 6's and higher strike rate!
