Great win against Dortmund. Funny how Hummels came out saying we know Madrid's weakness. They obviously tried to put the two CBs Pepe and Ramos underpressure but it didn't work as Pepe/Ramos responded well. Isco had a great game and deserves to start in every game however starting spots within the team are taken unfortunately. Funny how at the beginning of the season i didn't want Di Maria in the team and Maysun was pissed off that Benzema stayed and Higuain left however both Di Maria and Benzema are playing well this season.

^we just won the Copa Del Rey final against Barcelona with Bale scoring a stunner to seal the match. I think every RM fan have every right to celebrate for the time being. This win brings in a lot of confidence heading into the CL semi finals against Bayern as Bayern are in poor form. But yes a CL win is where our true celebrations should happen. A treble this year would be amazing.

Why replace Benzema? He is having a great season. I get that he might have missed a few good easy chances this season but as Madrid fans we underestimate his link up play.

Talk about Arsenal wanting Casemiro. I really rate Casemiro and i think he would do well in Xabi's position in the starting lineup however with Illara in the team I think Casemiro will always be on the bench. So if he wants game time then he should move out of Madrid. But i dont think moving to Arsenal is the right choice because they have so many midfielders as it is (Kallstrom, Ramsey, Ozil, Wilshere, Rosicky, Cazorla, Arteta, Flamini, Chamberlain)

that bale goal was not as impressive as ppl are making out to be.... it got too mcuh attention because it came at a crucial time...

all i saw was sheer speed and some boo boo by the goal keeper..... finishing kinda looked ugly to be honest...

put usain bilt in that position, he would have made that goal too...:p

That goal was great definitely but i agree with you to some extent iDumb bhai. It wasn't as spectacular compared to other goals that he has scored. However scoring a goal like that to win Real Madrid the Copa Del Rey shows that he is a special player and a true match winner. Only a few players in the world can pull off a goal like that in a crunch situation. And it's not like this was the first time Bale won matches for his individual goals. He has done it countless times for Tottenham.

Why did i bother watching Atl vs Chel. One of the most boring games of football i have ever watched. Feel sorry for Chelsea fans putting up with the bus parking by Mourinho week in and week out. Willian was pretty much playing left back LOL.

LOL according to Fifa14 ratings Marc Bartra has an acceleration of 65 and a sprint speed of 68 ahaha. In all seriousness barely any defender in the world can stop or match Bale when he is in full flight. Not only that but Bale runs in a way which is very deceptive. It's almost like he isn't running hard when he is accelerating. When you watch Ronaldo you can tell when he is about to accelerate. With Bale you can't because he runs with very long strides.

That's what people are saying but i feel like that the game will be all possession by Bayern. Pretty much a replica of the Copa Del Rey final. They are saying Gotze and Mandzukic will be on the bench making the midfield... '

Martinez - Schweinsteiger - Kroos

They are saying Lahm will be at LB however we know how good he plays in the midfield and with Ribery helping in the midfield it will potentially be a 5 man midfield. By doing this i feel like Madrid's midfield of Alonso, Modric and Di Maria will not be able to match Bayern's midfield in the defensive sense. But i guess we have to see Ancelotti's tactics on the day. Nonetheless it should be a cracker of a match and if Real Madrid do win or even win convincingly then it will prove that we are definitely up there as the best football team in Europe.

This is how Chelsea won that Champions League couple years ago. I doubt too many Chelsea fans were complaining than. I remember the game they played against Barcelona, they really had to grind that one out.

But that was because Barcelona were untouchable in that era. Barca's tiki taka and quality at that time was just too good for any team. If you played Barca with an orthodox team lineup of a 4-3-3 then you will get smashed because their midfield consisted of like 6 players. The only way to win against Barca at that time was to park the bus and catch them on the counter. Everyone at that time understood that it what you had to do in order to beat a quality team like Barca. Atletico are nothing like that. Atletico are a much more polished and astute defending unit rather than possessional based team but Chelsea still employing the same tactics as 2 years ago. It shows how defensive minded Chelsea are as a team. But i guess it is all about not losing and in this case Mourinho did not lose. But these tactics really do kill the beauty of football. As a fan you want to watch elegant attacking football.
