Even Brendon wanted to bat first. Dew wasn't that big an issue the other night. Good to bat on. Yes NZ bowled well upfront but their top two pacers haven't managed to get a wicket in the 5 overs each they bowled upfront.

TI is a poor runner between the wickets. No urgency in the first run whatsoever.

If a striker like Shamsur can't buy runs, I wonder how long it will take Mominul to get set, if he comes in.

11 overs 38 runs hopefully they accelerate the run rate before entire team fall on pressure.

The running between these two hasn't been good. That was a lucky escape, Mills is a tall dude, could have stopped that, and run them out.

Kopa should celebrate reaching double figures like Cristiano Ronaldo.

Shamsu is really struggling. He's over thinking and that's keeping his feet rooted to the ground.

After 12 overs:

1st ODI -- 38/3
Today -- 40/0

Shamsur hasn't looked good at all. But yes, his first match so not expecting much.

My god. Shamsur is almost a carbon copy of Anamul without the latter's beautiful cover drive and leg side shots.
