And after multiple decades of watching cricket some Jhanu spectators think BD can bounce back from following on in alien conditions.

Already 2 down with such a strong batting line up and you can count Tamim's as a walking wicket.

Only thing I can hope that avoid innings defeat, I guess that was the contingency plan of the captain which is always like that.

Mediocrity written all over this approach.

Everyone including the players know that Bangladesh stands no chance in this test series. They should make this opportunity count as it's rare for Bangladesh to play over there, and could make them better players in future. The experience there counts. I'm only glancing at the scorecard. Will be watching the ODI series for sure since Bangladesh stands a far better chance.

Agree, that is the only silverlining in this test match. In terms of gaining experience, you can exclude now Imrul (below standard), Mushfiqur (he decided not to learn any more), Tamim (well experienced), Mullah (incorrigible).

So, opportunity for Liton (wasted good start), Soummya, Shabbir and Mominul (doing well so far).

We should be thankful, that Mushfiqur decided to bowl on a flat track against SA, if he did this in Perth at the WACA against Australia, our test status would be under scrutiny.

It would actually be nice to see such pitches for Bangladesh to play on. Like I said, it will just make the players even better players later on. They've been playing too much on flat/spin/slow tracks for most of their careers.
