If Bangladesh wants to make any kind of impression through bowling it has to be the spinners.............
take 3/4 Australian wickets........that is the only thing BD can achieve.........if any bowler is bowling well........bowl him 10 overs continuosly.........

Well the main reasons why spinners are not brought in early is because the ball is still very new and would not turn much. The fielding restriction would also make the spinners quite redundant even if the batsmen take the aerial route. I would like to think if the pacers manage to keep the runs in check until the 10th over then we could bring in a spinner in one end. Lets see what happens...

Our batters didnt do as well as expected so our bowlers have to play well. 4 to 5 wickets should be good....
anyone know if we won the toss, or did Aussies put us to bat.

Agree! Today his batting against the spinners was reminding me about the "old" Ash.
He scored only 34 runs from the last 70 balls he faced.
|
IanW,
I somewhat agree with you but Ash is still very young and he is playing in a team where support, inspirations, confidence from other fellow batters are non-existent!! Put him in a Aussie or an English side and will see how quickly he "wise up"!
Spitfire,
"Old" Ash still will be light years ahead than those of his brain-dead fellow batters with exception to Aftab and today's Nafees Ahmed!

We should stop having high expectations from BD like scoring 250+ blah blah.. just ignore them for a while, they will jump back up

We just threw our wicket away by playing irresponsible shots! May be there was some fighting among the players!
