Man I am just laughing.
Probably HABA Sumon is his mama. Yesterday in an interview Sumon said he was selected in the team as he is a batting all rounder.

He does bang the ball in more than any of our other fast bowlers. So he has what they call "heavy ball." Plus he has his big shoulder weight going into it.

Zia bats without much timing and planning....looks amateurish. Today his bowling might cause for concern since not much swing and movement of the pitch.

we need to stop counting on Zia's batting, let's see how he bowls, I gave up on his batting long time ago.
If he can bowl economically with two wickets I will be very happy.

Ugly or not, when he came, the only thing that was in his mind is to make the best of whatever overs left to address the slow RR. We started too slow and lost wicket in bunches. When Zia came, there was no much over left with a challenge to accelerate the low RR.

Zia didn't disapointed me today. As i said before Zia is key for this ODI series.
May be from now on Zia will get a little bit more respect from the fans and start believing that its not all fluke, he has some cabability.

And boy was I wrong about his bowling.....the all time old method of bowling wicket to wicket works for Zia. Fifer for him.....CONGRATS.

i am really liking this Zia, he is wicket to wicket bowler and if he can continue like this he'll be a important part in the odi lineup, though still i am not sold in test and t20
whatever he gives in batting i'll take that as bonus
his big test will be to bowl against NZ later this year

He is proving his bowling skills in every format.
For now we should consider him as a bowler who can be handy as a tail ender.
I believe his good bowling will encourage him as a batsman.
