Single word to describe our Openers in this tournament..
Pinak - Ducks (!)
Saif - Dots (!)
Do I need to add more to describe what was one of the major reasons behind not winning the u19 WC in BD despite being among the favorites...
OPENERS !!!!!!!

Cons:
- Three passengers in Saif, Pinak and Sarkar (openers lost us the match)
- Joyraz is Mr.30s
- Toothless specialist spinners except Shawon
Pros:
- bright future in Mehidy (except captaincy)
- Potential in Zakir and Nazmul (sad the latter scores in group matches but choked in the KO matches)
- Hopeful batting AR in Shaif
- Impressive bowling from Mehede

There were a lot of fans who were happier to meet WI ahead of Pakistan. Indians might taste the same this time.

India seems far too strong. They will put up a big total unless WI gets them 3-4 wkts down very early.

Poor you guys provide no coverage of plate final.
Anyway Afghanistan won, great to see they have juniors coming through, maybe next time they will finish in the top 8.
The upsets have been good for the game, maybe they will change the next world cup,we only live in hope.

Last time they finished sixth. This time they were in a tough group with other Asian biggies.

SN Khan is the only batsman capable of India posting a decent score or it will be an absolute rout

Windies bowling attack won them against Bangladesh and looking so too against India, they have a good bunch the west indies.
Yeh we oz would have at least got to the quarters a dice roll from there,we we're missing 4/5 players due 2 domestic call ups.

Absolutely true.
I will be happy if WI wins it. They need some fresh juice in their cricket.

If it's any consolation, losing West Indies mean that we lost to the eventual champions and would kind of prove that we may be not so bad a team of after all. Nonetheless, with Australia not playing and we being the hosts, I find it hard to accept anything less than being the champions. This isn't 90s era, we must raise our standard of expectations.
