Yes, well said.
We have a tendency of wanting to bring every single jodu modu kodu into national team right after a good performance.
A double ton against Qatar and then bowing out to Afghans.
Bunch of idiots.

We badly want to play quality sides, as we can't improve any more by playing teams bellow test. our guys are taking the very lightly and therefore we get mixed results without any improvements. also we don't have much cricket. we only play a few games through the year. in the rest of the time we are just chilling without any practise

thats why our board is ignoring you..we aren't a quality side

Great going boys.

we are actually an affiliate team, it doesn't make things better
BUT there is a big difference between us/ireland and the rest of the teams.
And you guys shouldn't be sad, this side beat our senior team (without 3-4 main players) in two out of three games.

Well done boys! What a bunch of losers! We haven't had a decent u19 team since Mushy's batch. Al-Amin and Mossaddek are the only ones worth watching from this group. Asif is terribly over-rated. And Noor? This guy was actually being considered for the national team simple because he's a leg-spinner.

No big deal. We lost to a good fighting side. This afghan side is powerful, hard hitting team. We should look forward to the next match.

Bit harsh, no? Plus two players is plenty...how many youth level players actually make the grade? You get hundreds, and are lucky if you can get 10-12 worth talking about.

I look at this as a reality check. Nobody is going to hand us over a bright future. We need to earn it ourselves. "Bangladesh has a bright future" needs to be justified in terms of performance.

Thats pathetic - but harsh on Asif, he's still got potential. But still overall the team looks crappy - need to put in more effort.

Sissies, all pathetic puny little sissies! Hopefully Richard McInnes will *whip* success out of them at the academy level.

I might sound a bitter , but if any one can prove me at least ONE afghani player in that starting eleven was 'Under' 19 , I would happily accept a ten day ban from the mods.

I could not understand Asif's decision to give ball to Noor at the end who had already gone over 8 runs per over whereas Al- Amin bowled bowled only 5 overs, out of that 2 overs were maiden and gave only 19 runs.
Now why on earth you would give ball to a bowler in the penultimate over who got assaulted very badly and definitely was having a bad match is beyond my understanding.
Here is the break down of Noor's bowling at the end:
29 over- gave 9 runs
32 over- gave 12 runs
38 over- gave 15 runs
41 over- gave 11 runs and match over
And here are other bowlers who bowled at the end:
30 over- Mosaddek- 4 runs
33 over- Mosaddek- 5 runs
35 over- Mosaddek- 2 runs
36 over- Nasum- 3 runs
37 over- Mosaddek- 2 runs

We ought to put today's match in context guys. Our strategy was spin-centric and things seemed to be working out OK before the rain. After the rain, the ground was naturally wet and the spin strategy backfired.
How?
BECAUSE A WET BALL IS HARD TO GRIP AND GRIPPING THE FREAKING BALL IS KEY TO SLOW BOWLING. CAN'T GRIP THE BALL, CAN'T CONTROL THE DELIVERY, AS SIMPLE AS THAT. Anybody who knows anything about cricket, not EA Cricket or purely statistical geekfesting out of context, knows that to be a FACT, NOT AN EXCUSE.
A roti diet? NOT FUNNY! What next? Reunification with Pakistan and united Talibania to improve our cricket?
That being out of the way, give the Afghans some credit. They're a spirited bunch hungry for success and took full advantage of the conditions out there.

We have no standard to measure ourselves. We are better than qatar that's about it. Batting order at all levels seems crap and prone to collapse. Credit to the Afghan top order who layed the solid foundation and didnt throw their wkts away. Now Nepal and Maldives must be itching to play us.
