It took Bangladesh 9 overs to come up with a decent looking boundary from Imrul. Is the pitch really that difficult to bat or is it the pathetic form of our batsmen.

I know that we should not judge a debutante batsman from his performance in the first match but Fazle Rabbi (the complete package) looked like a nothing batsman from the few balls that he faced. I hope that he proves me wrong.

What a payback.

Liton remains a step function. Either 50/10 or zero.

Even against Zimbo, looks like seniors will have to bail us out. Lets see if Mithun can do something or he is just another FLUKE.

the problem with l i t o n is he gets out very often in single digits which is not good for an opener

Our seniors are performing more often than not.

Juniors are either not performing altogether or if performing, they are doing it more NOT than often.

At the beginning of the match all our batsmen were having a very hard time with the bat and they were attempting a lot of bad shots. As a result we were behind in the run rate I guess and Imrul is trying to make it up. But now Musfiq is gone trying a lousy shot.

Imrul should target a big score. He really should be our regular opener. Better and more consistent.

Today is a chance for our younger players to prove themselves. Mithun should take this opportunity and try to score a 50 if not a 100. Imrul should also bat long. Liton wasted his chance today. I was looking to see some good cricket from him and was totally disappointed.

A run out at this stage should be unforgivable. The player responsible for such, if it happens should be kicked out of the team for good.

Even though Musfiq did not seem to be comfortable playing his shots, when he was there, both Imrul and Mushfiq were scoring at a good rate. But now they are playing very poorly. Scoring has come down to a halt. At this rate, we should be bracing for a big loss.
