I don;t care about Riyad, but I care of nasir and I am really worried about him.
he is not properly used as a bowler. Captain really never nurtured his bowling skill. New ver used proplerly. There should be a long term plan to bring him up slowly as a bowler. This is not his fault.
Howeevr I aslo worry about his dropped catches which is so unlike him. Also he is getting out after 20s, he is not taking his innings to the next level that he sued to do.
Thats raise the question: Is is already acting like a fat cat? Already satisfied ? Already thinking as an entitled player? Enjoying too much of his stardom outside cricket?

Shongo dosh ei manush er koto kina hoi...ar shei shongo jodi karap influence hoi taile to kothai nai..instead of giving hundreds of tv/media interview he should practice more batting and sometimes he looks he is out of control playing those shots

That's fine.....as long as he does not start frying it. ;-)
Back to the original topic; I think other teams just started paying attention to Nasir and blocked his favored area.
Nasir's bating by style always looks overtly aggressive without much substance/ technique behind it. Luckily enough it came off more often than not and won us matches. His defense has never been good and he hardly plays in the v. I have never seen him playing an on-drive or showing the full face of the bat while driving. He relies too much on square cuts or pulls. He is not wristy and hardly ever glances the ball.
Nasir will have to work extra hard to add few more shots than he's currently equipped with to get out of this slump or get smarter with placement.
Good luck to him.

It is all about Nasir, if you are talking about the recent losses. I think Nasir's role in the team has been downplayed all this time. We were never that consistent till he came into the picture and his consistency and reliability and calmness eventually transpired to a lot of victories for Bangladesh. Bring out the stats, if Nasir performs, Bangladesh wins. Bottom line. He is the cornerstone for Bangladesh's batting and acceleration/finishing close games against G8 teams. Unfortunately he has been out of form, unless we get him back and get back Shakib, Tamim and have that full lineup there is no way in hell we are beating even Afghanistan man.

you said it so well, I agree 100% , although Nasir didn't contribute in all victories like the first 2 ODIs vs NZ.
But ya, this is the point I wanted to make , Nasir's contribution is extremely vital for us.

Nasir is a very important part of the team. To get him going, I would move him up the order, so he can face more balls and find his way. Been a victim of some garbage umpiring too lately. Lets not forget that.

Nasir just waste of batting spot, he has been utter rubbish for a while with fielding, batting. Today was his chance to prove his value at the team but he just completely failed. Cannot believe two years ago our own a-team beat this afghan team, and now our national team peing intheir own pant facing afghans. Shame on our players.

have to be the side effect of instant stardom and fame and the other previledge that it comes as a package.
History showed that most of the people who won large amount of money in lottery ticket end up losing the money, broken family and friends and ended with a very miserable life.

ek tu beshi hoiye gasey!! 40 kortey 4 life par hoitey hoisey. fifth'a giya out hoisey. He needs rest. Where has been the singles? where has been the ground strokes? Not in the air ones!!!
As for your original thread question: No, it is not only Nasir. Riyad and Shohag falling apart all at one time made our middle order weak-link instead of the strength. How we have to rely on Rubel to score runs.

I'm pretty sure an in form NAsir would have won us atleast two games out of 7 games we played this year.
He has no timing, nothing from the middle of the bat, seems like he is using his boro bhai's bat, can't hit big, can't even take singles.
Seems like he is going through what Bijoy has gone through after a magnificent start against WI, look at Bijoy now, so comfortable & confident.
Nasir's form won't hurt us much in T20 cup but still if this continues Shabbir should replace him.
Team comes first my son.
