My passion for bangladesh cricket has become an obsession, I dont think I'll ever able to leave it till my soul's demise. However, I think this loss is just one of the few low points we've had during Dave's tenure. And comparing the differnce between our team of 2003 and 2006, there is a world of a difference. Dave and our boys have learnt a good lesson and this shall be a benefactor for us in the near future. I believe that we'll make a strong comeback in the last odi and in the kenya series, hopefully.

Making Pilot captain was the worst decision and that runied all our success and IMO, there is no difference between WC2003 and current squad.
Axe Pilot, you will find the differences.

All you guys appear so down and out. This is simply not normal pre-match comments on this forum. Some even swear not to follow Bangladesh cricket and some even say even a win in the last match is pointless. But I assure boys, there is more in this final match. One match can trigger a series of wins and things may turn upside down from that match onwards.
I am sure all those who are upset, including those who never want to follow Bangladesh cricket will be elated if a win comes tomorrow, regardless of their emotional outbursts today.

Fast bowlers Mashrafee Bin Mortaza and Shahadat Hossain Rajib, who have shared the new ball throughout the four matches are out along with Alok Kapali. Left-arm swing bowler Syed Rasel gets his first outing and will open the bowling with medium pacer Farhad Reza.

Resting Mashrafe and Shahadat oher than fatigue is a bad idea. I wonder what these selectors are smoking. The players who need to get off the roster are Javed Omar, Ashraful and Kapali. All three are batsmen unfortunately and one sensible replacement is Mushfiq. I think two players are at the edge of retirement and they are Kapali and JO. Kapali is young and should consider migrating to Canada or somewhere where he can pursue club cricket.
For the other two spots, Asharful and JO, I don't see any harm experimenting with Tushar Imran and Sakib. In my opinion, these changes should have been done right after the first match of the series.

In 5th ODI BD batting order should be ..
S Nafees
Ashraful (make him opener, he is doing almost nothing as a no. 4 batsman)
Aftab
Sakib
Farhad
Mushfiq
Rajin (very difficult to find a suitable order for his snail style batting)
Rajjaq
Rafiq
Pilot (Grrr... he is in, at least will get less chane to do harm and make others run out)
Rasel

good to see that mushfiq and sakib are finally getting a game. but i am absolutely clueless as to why we are playing both pilot and mashud in the starting eleven. one reason for our disastrous results this series has been the incoherent selection policies. we badly missed rasel as a third seamer in every match. similarly, the batting tail got longer after game.
if mushfiq replaced mashud, then we could have played another new ball bowler. the team selected bats deep, but look at the bowling line up. farhad sharing the new ball, is indeed a baffling choice! and mashud's captaincy record speaks for itself for sure.
my playing eleven for this game would have been
Nafees
Ashraful ( caught between aggressive and defensive mindset...needs a free license to thrill)
Aftab
Mushfiq ( ideal foil playing between the more aggressive players)
Sakib
Rafiq( all at sea against the pacers...will be better utilised in the middle overs facing utseya and co.)
Kapali( more useful lower down the order than Rajin)
Farhad
Razzak
Shahadat ( young guy, fit and in form... let him play)
Rassel

I doubt if this Tendulkar guy is an Indian.
I am not saying there aren't Indian guys who are angry with Bangladesh. But the way this guy has written his post, the idea seems more to attract lot of anti-India comments than to show any of his anger per-se.
The comments like "India kicks Bd in cricket" seems more like a comment thrusted down the throat. Even an angry India is not gonna post in the silly manner that this dude has.
I suspect a Paki-dude posing as an Indian for reasons best known to him.

so are you saying that you only support india when they win? you don't sound like a mature indian fan. if you tell me your grudges against us, i can help you out; if you don't want to speak in public, i can also help you but first tell me why you hate us too much; and i need to know how old are you, the first thing.

lol...if your purpose was to create an uproar and get a reaction you have completely failed in your pathetic endeavour. it is indeed a shame to know that someone having the benefits of education can manage to be so completely illiterate. i am positive that the world would be a better place without souls like you inhabiting amongst us. and lastly please dont call yourself 'tendulkar.' you are a disgrace to whichever group you belong to. good riddance!
