My local butchers are Afghani...... one is a bit rude sometimes as he seems ht headed....however they are a decent bunch . We can't judge the whole country based on a few people on the field. These players have lived through wars and it has made them rough. However the more exposure to international cricket they get they will learn more diplomacy in sports.

There was a documentary on Afghani cricket following the team a few years ago. The whole bunch seemed like such a cheerful bunch.

Dont bother me. lets not give them the attention they so desperately seeking. We have bigger things to aim at, and to worry about.

It's the experience, we know how their nation have been this and that... now, them suddenly managing to be where they are...now, they think their nawabs and like australia ... its too much for them to handle staying in 5star hotels, playing in BD big crowds, they actually think they are shupaarstars.

Let's forgive the the little brothers?. they are our choto bhais...

Indeed. A few looks like really rough, but others seem to be very passionate about their cricket.

More exposures would definitely make them better cricketer...in future.

A bit too condescending no? LOL I feel like we can't afford to say stuff like that when countries like India and Pakistan view us as their "little brothers"...

Pretty expensive spice though, considering the fine both Shakib and Zadran has to pay.

I loved the way Shakib simply dismissed any preconceived notions the fans may have had about the pressure the team would have been under. "We knew it would be one-sided" - brilliant.

Let's save the rhetoric from the Bangladeshi team for the end of the tournament - not the beginning. One step just passed on ladder. Them dangerous words.

I would absolutely love them to try and sledge the Aussies. That would be a sight to behold.

Thanks for Sharing MoC bhai .. You are the best

Looks like Afghans had some good plans against Tamim and Shakib only if they had some runs on board. However they have made 2 major mistakes in this game.

1. Totally underestimated our Bowling. They considered us as worst bowling attak on planet.
2. Underestimated Bijoy's potetial. If they had done a little bit of homework or use their brain, they should have bowl seamers in first two overs. They have allowed Bijoy to settle with Spin who eventually take the game away from them while they were too busy sledging Tamim and Shakib.

Thanks for the clip. 2-3 Afgan players definitely went over-board, but we should refrain from criticizing all the players and the entire nation. However, if this happens again then the captain must take responsibility for the behavior of his team.

that looks horrible! was Mashrafe fined for this? if he did this against an international team then there would have been serious consequences...

Do not judge by few bad apples. The Afgans (plural) I know are compassionate, friendly, humble, and caring. We have millions worse than these two. See politicians. Don't want to go there? See any police officer.

Most people of Dhaka (on any street) are inconsiderate, impatient, unfriendly, and do not care about anyone else. Thousands if not millions.

Some of the Afghan players are enough to ashamed their whole country. They have barbarian attitudes.
