It is raining, and might have showers again in patches. Definitely reduced overs and D/L method will be playing in the finals too.

australia win the toss and they will have a bat first. not surprised really, despite the weather condition n all.. the pitch is still intact as it was mostly covered during the rain.
oh, it started to rain again.. no words on over-curtailing yet...

10.15am It's really rather nasty now, people huddled under umbrellas and most trying to find shelter under the stands. The only people dry (on the outside) are those packed in the corporate boxes. If we don't start soon then we will start docking overs ... and if we don't start soon then Percy Sonn may start singing.

Also there are 3 servers so if you have sopcast click on the Sopcast server because it takes you to the match a lot quicker than the first 2 servers.

WI is really the worst place to have a World Cup and one of the reasons are because of the weather so I am hoping the ICC never choses WI to host a WC again unless the weather is perfect to play cricket!!!!

We have just heard that if there is no play by 2.15pm (18.15GMT) then we all get to go home and come back tomorrow. How on earth do I explain to my wife that I can't take her to the coast because it's raining in the Caribbean ...

11.15am Covers on, drizzle in the air. The corporate guests have now been inside their air-conditioned and booze-laden boxes for three hours. Even if the match starts today, none of them are likely to notice. Outside, the authorities have taken things in hand and turned up the volume on the music. Gnasher suggests they have only done so to drown out the sound of Percy Sonn belting out "My Way" in the ICC bolt hole.

Then during the match Mahela and Murali will start their Hula dance...... and then just after the game is over....the winner will celebrate and say "Hello' and on the other side the looser will hide in Niger in shame. But one thing is for sure: the winning captain have to be very proficient in English, on the other hand the loosing team will have a national flag looks like a textile made by sewing layers of colored cloth together to form patterns. And from Manday, It's the 1st day to talk about WC2011.
