^Pace bowling is something we do not see too often bringing fruit. But, credit can be put where it is due.
For example, go back to recent India tour of WIndies, India won everything comprehensively, beating WIndies through humiliating innings defeat but again nobody resisted to highlight the performance of Shillingford.

It's still weird because, say our pace did improve, then why does our batting collapse?
And if our batting improves then why does our bowling go back to crap?

The players are too lazy to work on their fielding. We were a very good fielding unit a couple of years back. And now its a gamble if the fielder can stop a ball.
Yes there were some good catches in the last match, but fielding was amateurish.

You build pressure on a batsman by good fielding and stopping runs. Our fielders are being unable to do that.

Poor fielding and captancy. Making Gazi bowl the four consecutive overs was silly.

Fielding setup should be based on bowlers strength and opposition batsmen weakness's. If the fielding coach did his homework, did a good job training the players, and counsil individual bowlers with the captain before the match, this problem would be minimized. Field setup is part of the gameplan and I am afraid the head coach and the fielding coach is not doing a good job in this area. Julien Fountain was very good in this role. BCB should bring him back immediately.

CLASSY
and I believe that's what differentiates top ranked teams against bangladesh
SA, SL, IND, PAK, AUS, NZ, WI are all capable of batting recoveries.
