Hasan Bhai, no I did not take it seriously (shouldn't that be evident from my language?)
Anyway, first come first thread will create a competition that will make us have a thread who knows may be 2 weeks earlier. I wanted to stop that and I thought this lottery will be a fun game. Thats all.

IMO, either it should be open for everyone like previous matches involving Bangladesh or its should be reserved for Banglacricket Management.

I have a proposal...
What about the winning percentage of match thread openers so far?? We need to find the number and the percentage of of winning margin of match thread openers so far...and the person with the highest percentile of wins should open the match on the all important against the eendians... failure to report to open the thread by the 14th.. the second person would get the chance... qualification of entry: person has to open at least 5 match threads... someone who has opened only 1 and won the game might have a 100% record..but it doesnt count.. oh damn...that leaves me out of the question..i've opened only one test match thread... ( BD-Eng, 1st Test, 2005 at Lords)..and we lost the game by huge margin... so im not going anywhere round that place...

I am getting a lot of suggestions and I must admit most of them are good ones. However, to avoid anymore complication that it already is, I'm willing to stick to this idea at least for this time being.
Also, this way, the organizer can also join and no one will think I'm cheating. As I wish to add my name there as well.

আমিও world cup thread খুলতে চাই। আমি আগে একবার খেলার সুতা খুলেও পরে আমার ২ মিনিট আগে আরেকজন খোলার কারনে বন্ধ করে দিতে বাধ্য হয়েছিলাম।
আমার মতে কেউ একটার বেশি সুতা খুলার উচিত হবে না। তার মানে মাত্র ৩ জন খুলতে পারবে। কেউ যদি বলে আমুক সময়ে আমি সুতা খুলেছিলাম সেই খেলা জিতেছি এরকম কোন সেকেলে কথা আমরা বিশবাস করি না। খেলা সুরু হবার ৩ দিন আগে মডারেটরা বলে দেবেন কে খূলবে। এটা নিয়ে অতিতের মত যেন কোন ঝামেলা আর ভুল বুঝাবুঝি না হয়।

shafin wants to open one too.He would have loved to open all three,but thought otherwise.
Thanks for accepting my proposal on the thread opening.But I had another proposal there.Those of us who enter our names here and do not get the chance will get the consolation of opening another WC match thread not involving BD.And there should also be a lottery for Opening match,Semi Finals and Final.Any response on that. I have the term Final Exam right at the WC time,so I'm a bit inactive now. Hope I'll get the match against India,we'll win by 5 wickets against them,Insha Allah. And When BD reaches Super Eight,will the one's that got previous match threads be eligible?
