I think his main goal today was to kiss his bat and show off while he leaves the field. Probably he is frustrated he couldnt kiss the pitch after getting a hundred!! He wanted to put pressure on all the other batsmen so that they would get out and he would be the star of the day for once.

Salam!
Now that is just too plain nasty mifb...we sitting on our armchairs cant really be the judge of these things....but then again you really don't have to understand a game to make COMMENTS I guess.....

Although unfortunate...JO did hang in there....and mind you every such long innings gives hope to BD cricketers and gives us hope that we can actually survive 50 overs.....Also it proves holds our detractors at bay.....and anyway this is not BASEBALL!

Well marin420, just surviving 50 overs was the aim of BD ten years back. Now they should play with an aim to score certain amounts of runs, not just to survive. All the other members of the team seem to know that quite well, except Javed. There is no doubt he is the slowest batsmen in the team wasting the most balls.

So this is our current objective after beating world champ Australia just last week. That was a quite a steep downgrade in 10 days!

As I said at the opening thread, this surviving whole 50 over was the exact mentality when we started to play ODI. Now reverting back to that just after couple of all outs over the last few days would be utter backwardness and disastrous.
